Surrounded by trees and with a flowing stream nearby, CosyCottage is the perfect escape for two. It lies in one of the most exclusive areas of the Lake District. The shores of Lake Windermere are metres away, yet it’s just two miles from the shops, cafés, restaurants, and attractions of Bowness.
CosyCottage is just off the A592 – the road that winds along the eastern shore of Lake Windermere. Easy to reach, but harder to leave.
Created with couples in mind, the CosyCottage is a place to relax and replenish in style. With slate floors, the cosy interior boasts a separate double bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a lounge area with TV and facilities to reheat meals. After all, why would you come all this way to cook indoors when there is a barbecue outside and there are a multitude of dining options just minutes away. And, if it’s a special occasion, Cumbria boasts 11 Michelin starred restaurants, most of them just a short drive from the cottage.
Along with the Fire pit cum barbecue, outside there is a seating area, and a private parking space. Evenings can be spent relaxing in your own outdoor hot tub watching the sun set behind the fells, before snuggling up in front of the log-burning stove to watch the flames dance the night away.
Of course, when you have to reconnect with modern life, there’s free, fast, unlimited Wi-Fi included.
