We were greeted by Simona and were given a quick tour of the accommodation. She suggested using a pre-arranged driver for arrival or return to the airport. We recommend using it as it is considerably cheaper than local taxis. The apartment is located in a working class neighborhood and appears well maintained. It is on the 4th floor (with elevator) within a 5 minute walk to Cornelia Metro, and close to grocery shopping. A large bus hub is also within a 5 minute walk. Our group of 4 was able to easily get to our destinations by bus and metro. The apartment was clean and modern. There are two bedrooms: one bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the 2nd bathroom is in the hallway. The showers had ample hot water and good water pressure. Each bedroom has a large wardrobe with shelves and drawers. The beds and pillows are firm. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances that work well including a gas stove, microwave, washing machine & refrigerator. There are adequate dishes and cutlery for four, but only one large knife (a bread knife) for food prep. As we enjoy preparing our own meals, a few more dishes and sharp knives would be a welcome addition. The living room was equipped with a couch that sat 3 people requiring anyone else to use a dining room chair. The bedrooms and living area have individual air conditioners that work well. The bedrooms and living room included smart TVs that were easy to use. Communication with the owner was prompt. Would we stay again – absolutely!
