The Neighborhood: This pretty town is well known for its Friday food, flower and craft markets, and farmers' markets on the first Saturday of each month. Stokesley Agricultural Show is held every year on the third Saturday in September, attracting visitors from all over the country. Then, just a few yards away, discover a panorama of buildings and open spaces as you enter the town centre. From here, you can explore Stokesley Manor House at the eastern end of Market Square, and discover the Church of St Peter and Paul, with its famous mouse woodwork carved by the "Mouseman" of Kilburn! Many quality independent shops create a friendly lively experience for those who regularly visit the town or for newcomers seeing what is on offer for the very first time.
