Disliked: Check-in, communication
Fairly average place, but pleasant little house. Could do with a few upgrades regarding glasses and other kitchen items, but nothing to really complain about. The check in process was absolutely terrible. I hadn't been issued with a code for the key safe. I rang the contact number and after 40 minutes on hold I finally managed to speak to someone. I was issued with a code for the key safe, but unfortunately, there was no key inside. After a further 50 minutes on hold, interspersed with sporadic conversation, I eventually received details of a second key save used by the cleaners. This contained 2 sets of keys. 90 minutes on the phone to gain access is absolutely unacceptable.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you found the house pleasant overall. I’m very sorry that the check-in process was so difficult — spending 90 minutes on the phone to gain access is absolutely unacceptable and we apologise for the stress and inconvenience this caused. Your comments about the glasses and other kitchen items are noted and will be investigated to see where improvements can be made. The problems with the key safe and the delays you experienced are also noted and are being investigated. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention; we appreciate your candid feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a much smoother stay. If you’d like to discuss anything further, please contact our team with your booking reference and we’ll be happy to assist.
