Wonderful all round lovely!!! Most holiday homes are kinda bleak so the clean up between guests is easier, but not this place!!!lovely warm soft welcoming! everything you need to have a brew as soon as you get there! no expense spared on the electricals. loads of room dog loved it my boys loved it we all loved it! We saw the house as a dream home - id love to live there!!!! ample parking and even thoughtful enough to add plug safety caps to prevent little fingers finding them. Could not recommend enough. the only issues we had was the sofa is very low and difficult to get up from but thats it! and theres chairs if u prefer :)

This is a sizeable property with excellent off road parking (somewhat rare in this area) a large lounge and dining room. Our 4 adults were more than comfortable with 2 double bedrooms being of good proportions along with 2 single rooms. Great location for those who want to walk into Whitby or for use of public transport.Supermarkets are within 0.5 miles and an express mini-market mere yards away. There are disappointing elements:(1) is the relatively poor Wi-fi signal which appears to be derived from an extender in the utility room (from adjacent property?). This resulted in devices being logged out frequently - especially so upstairs;(2) overwhelming smell in utility room - likely due to no air trap for washing machine;(3) grease around extractor hood over hob - this did not appear to work despite having an electric connection;(4) relatively poor quality chrome trim in en-suite was tarnished and loose.Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the thoughtful "welcome" elements of milk, orange juice etc which made our arrival less stressful.Would not hesitate to return to same property.
