We enjoyed a two night stay in the property which is adjacent to the main house. We were able to park right outside on the drive making it easy to unload the car. The check in was simple with a key code access provided by the host prior to arrival. Communication was excellent Richard was attentive and friendly. Although there are two bedrooms only one was accessible the other being locked off. The main accommodation was lovely clean and tidy with a TV in both the lounge and bedroom areas. The lounge is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom had a very comfy double bed and an en suite with a shower. This is the only toilet in the property I belive, which may prove tricky if other people need access during the night. However that wasn't the case for us and we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in future.
Excellent little house, ideally situated for exploring Ayrshire.
Very clean and well maintained property. Well furnished and equipped. Our only quibble was that the bathroom was actually en-suite with the main bedroom so with elderly people requiring a toilet during the night there was an element of intrusion. However, we were all family and coped. There is also a small step in that main bedroom that our more elderly family initially found problematic so anyone booking should be aware. Otherwise, this was an excellent base for exploring Ayrshire. There are also some very good restaurants eg Oscars and Curry On The Corner. We were fortunate to have clear skies and sunshine for our whole trip and were able to take advantage of the lovely garden in the late afternoons.when we returned from trips.
