Check in process is a little confusing.I did love the room basic and practical and with Character The front doorway is a little scary at night because a lot of guys are hanging around at the entrance were you enter the door code drinking at the downstairs at the bar Famous Portuguese tart place 2 minutes walk open until 12amOverall I really enjoyed my time there

Great location if you like things to do all in one area. If you Ike real quiet then might not be for you. We like action!

Great location but loud at night

Small room with the basic amenities (microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine), a small balcony and a private bathroom. Exactly like the pictures. Really bright in the mornings. The bathroom has a smell but it must have something to do with piping (and it seems to be pretty common in Lisbon). Other than that, the pillows were quite thin and the area is popular so it gets loud at night, but there is an ac and the window muffled the noise a lot. Overall a good apartment

Great location but noisy

Located right in the middle of the Bairra Alta district, this tiny yet cozy room with a kitchenette and RV-sized bathroom was definitely the right location for our 5-day stay. First the "stunning view" is of the apartments across the street when you open the one and only window. We had a good laugh. We were not aware there were other rooms with sharing a bathroom and it was a bit noisy. Also, 2nd floor means 3rd floor in the US. Checking in was a bit diabolical as there is a code for the front door,, climb to the 3rd floor, use a code for the lock box to unlock that floor of rooms, Then use another code to unlock that box to get the room key. Having said all this, we enjoyed our stay despite the sewer smell (used a towel to cover the shower drain and mgmt. provided air freshener) as Lisbon is amazing and we are old travelers who like a cheap place to stay.
