Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 full bathrooms, (Sleeps 10) Relax and enjoy our year-round lake-shore chalet style home on Upper Clam Lake near Siren, Wisconsin. This getaway retreat is 1 1/2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Our cabin is fully furnished with all of the modern amenities and conveniences to make your stay comfortable, yet encompasses the rustic cabin atmosphere with cedar siding, knotty pine ceilings, stone fireplace and hardwood (heated) floors to provide the 'retreat' feeling you desire. We are sharing this cabin so you can also build memories.
This spacious 1,800 square foot home with attached screen porch is big enough for large families and friends. There is ample sleeping space for every member of your group.
There is no shortage of activities for kids and adults regardless of season - kids can play basketball (2 hoops and paved surface), trampoline, large flat yard, 165 feet of shore front and private dock (available memorial day thru labor day). Great fishing off the dock, a bonfire pit and plenty of roads / trails for daily walks and hikes. Clam Lake is one of the best fishing spots in the area year round. Enjoy snowmobiling, biking, or hiking on the nearby Gandy Dancer Trail. Four-Wheeler trails are also in the area. NEW 125 foot zip line, 200 lbs max.
The home is perfectly suited for a private chalet retreat in the winter time with direct access to the lake for snowmobiling, fishing or skiing. The heated floors, gas fireplace and modern conveniences (i.e wifi and basic cable) allow for a perfect winter or summer retreat! Drinking water is filtered using a Kinetico filtering system.
The home is situated on a private wooded lot which typically is visited daily by local deer and wildlife. A security camera exists that points towards the driveway. There are misquitoes in the summer time.
Siren (3 miles away) is a vibrant resort town with many restaurants, wine-tasting events, antique and gift shops, along with scrap-booking and quilting stores with helpful personnel and classes to explore. There is a movie theater, mini-golf, public beach /park and indoor skating rink if part of your clan has an desire to explore and enjoy life in-town. There are several golf courses in the area, including Siren National (18 holes) and the new re-opened Hole in the Wall Casino, just outside of town.
Come explore what Siren has to offer - you will have the time of your life! Create some wonderful memories.

About the host
Hosted by Joe Sheehan
Minnesota native that worked for 3M for 33 years and is now retired and living in Texas. Had four children and now have 15 grandchildren and looking forward to spending time with them at the cabin.
Why they chose this property
We come up to our cabin about two months each summer to visit and build memories with our grandchildren. I have two daughters that live in Hudson, WI with 4 kids each. One of my daughters is managing this property.
What makes this property unique
We love the water and always wanted to own a cabin. We upgraded to this cabin because it is bigger and has a large private wooded lot. The lake is very clean and is good for fishing and recreational use.
Relaxing, antique shopping (many shops), scrap-booking (this area is know for it's shops and classes), a must stop is Burnett Dairy for fresh ice cream and yogurt, kids love the trampoline and catching fish off the dock (available memorial day thru labor day), attending numerous festivals, we always discover something new. We just installed a 125 foot zip line.
