About this property
2 Bed in Woolacombe (oc-h29545)
In a sea-facing spot in the pretty coastal village of Woolacombe, this delightful penthouse apartment is perfect for a relaxing break with friends or loved ones. You will be just 200 metres from Combesgate Beach and have a good choice of shops, pubs, cafes, cinema and restaurants, just 0.5 miles away as well as Woolacombe’s 3 mile stretch of golden sands. Woolacombe Beach is excellent for swimming, picnicking and water sports like surfing.
This two-bed holiday home is directly opposite Combesgate Beach, with gorgeous views stretching to Morte Point visible from its spacious open-plan living area and balcony. The decor is stylish, with neutral shades and plenty of natural materials like wood. There's a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for meal prep. The dining table is located next to a glass door so you can absorb the vistas while you eat. You'll have two welcoming bedrooms: a king-size with spectacular sea views and an en-suite shower room, and a twin room with views over National Trust land from its skylight. A family bathroom with shower over bath completes the space. As well as the pretty balcony, which is fantastic for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks, you'll have a spacious patio at the back with countryside views and direct gated access to National Trust land. A number of steps lead up to the apartment, and this retreat has private parking for one car.
Guests will love spending time on the balcony with a morning coffee or a favourite beverage in the evening watching the sun sink into the sea. At the back of the apartment, guests can enjoy sitting on the patio furniture which offers a peaceful setting with countryside views, perfect for reading a favourite book. Head out of your back gate with access to numerous foot paths and ideal for walks with your family pet. You can wander around the village and perhaps pop in for a local Devon cream tea. Join the South West Coast Path (200 metres) to further explore the rugged coastline, perhaps reaching local beauty spots like the headlands at Morte Pointe (1 mile) and Baggy Point (6.5 miles). Look out for seals basking on the rocks along the way!
