My family had a lovely time at Frances's Scotland abode! She was so quick to reply to any queries and having a short walk to the beach was pretty special.
We ended up arriving far later than expected and the host was waiting for us to help us in for the night. I had told her it was a super special occasion and not only was the place beautiful, with everything we could ask for but we had a surprise waiting for us in the kitchen! We celebrated our 40th anniversary with what they left for us and had a lovely and relaxing evening. The children thoroughly enjoyed playing outside in the yard the next morning and if we had the chance, we’d definitely return for several days at this property!!!
Lovely host who was very accommodating. We arrived late and only stayed one night. Not sure if fans are available but even with the heat turned off, it was a bit warm. Very clean, nice house that was as advertised.

About the host
Hosted by Frances Dent
We have lived in the Highlands since 2007. Highland Hideaway was our family home until 2023. It has now been fully refurbished and we rent it out throughout the year.
Why they chose this property
This is the most beautiful area - mountains meet the sea and nature surrounds you.
What makes this property unique
Highland Hideaway is just a few hundred yards from the main west highland road, the A82 and yet it feels very secluded and the shore is just a 5 minute stroll away.
