The ultimate in cozy, so eloquently settled near Carnelian Woods. This home sleeps 8. There is an extra fee per night per person above 6 adults. There are three spacious bedrooms, and loft with two fully remodeled bathrooms; includes large capacity washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef at heart. The family room is the focal point with its unique fire place. This room is perfect for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the view. There is a large wrap around deck for barbecuing and an outdoor bed for sleeping under the stars. This home is conveniently located 3 miles from Kings Beach and 6 miles from Tahoe City. Located near Garwoods Restuarant, 15 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Squaw Valley Ski Resort. The beach is 10 minute walking distance from the cabin.

New furnace installed.
Both bathrooms were remodeled and new high efficiency windows and doors placed.

This was the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. It was easy to prepare meals for our group of 7. Plenty of blankets, towels, and hot water. It was clean. Everything worked. Big enough to spread out but not so big you lost people. Great location. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the porch.

We spent two nights here with friends and family, and it turned out to be the perfect winter getaway.The home was clean, cozy, and very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful snow and gentle snowfall right outside the property—it made everything feel magical and added so much to the overall experience.We loved spending time together indoors while enjoying the scenic winter views outdoors. The location was peaceful and ideal for a relaxing family trip. July 4th friends trip

Cabin was well suited for a group trip for 4th of July. The location was easy walking to restaurants and the beach. The patio was spacious. Only downside was we had planned to BBQ over the four days and learned a few days before arrival that it was not allowed for renters.

Lovely, quiet neighborhood with roomy cabin

Our hosts were very responsive, and our stay was lovely. The L-shaped deck with dining table (and umbrella) is a treat, and the newish bathrooms are wonderful. The location--somewhere between Kings Beach and Tahoe City--is terrific, and Carnelian Bay has its own charms as well.

The perfect stay

Rented the cabin for a weekend with my small swimming team and it was the perfect fit. Plenty of towels and hot water, kitchen items, and comfy beds for us to crash after a long day in the water. Very clean and well-organized and communicated. We'll definitely be back!

Comfortable nicely located cabin

Cabin was comfortable and well equipped with everything one would need to stay for a few days. All appliances were in like-new condition. The cabin is conveniently located and sleeps 5-6 people in private bedrooms, with overflow in the loft beds. We are 6 of us and we had plenty of linen and towels to spare after our 3-day stay.

I grew up in a small town in Nevada and I used to vacation with my family in Lake Tahoe. I always dreamed of having a place in Lake Tahoe. I was able to fulfill that dream when my husband and I were able to purchase this place in 2016. We purchased it from a family that owned this cabin since 1979 and they told us they have a lot of memories that they created over the years. My husband and I are hoping to make our own memories along with our daughter and son and hopefully their family and friends in the coming years. We also hope to share this place with other people who love and admire one of the most beautiful places on planet earth; Lake Tahoe
