About this property

Relax and enjoy the charms of downtown Mystic. Located on the historic property of Captain William Morgan, an 18th century sea captain, this private Carriage House is situated just a 1/4 block from downtown.. in the heart of Mystic, but also peaceful & secluded. A very 'Norman Rockwell-like' setting!
There are two suites for rent. These are side by side but not connected. Both back up to the private terrace behind with beautiful gardens. The larger suite sleeps three with a king bed and smaller full size futon. The smaller with a king bed sleeps two.

Cozy and quaint cottage stay

Susan was exceptional in her hospitality. We enjoyed Herman's presence and his welcome as well as Susan's acceptance of my small senior doxie dog in the cottages. The courtyard adds to the ambiance of a small getaway and was perfect to relax after touring the town. We're grateful for the visit and time Susan took with us!

Always have a wonderful experience staying at any one of Susan’s properties! We’ve been coming to Mystic for over 19 years and we call Mystic our happy place and our home away from home. Susan does a great job making us feel welcome and taking care of all of our needs. Her homes are always clean and well stocked. It’s been a pleasure getting to know her over the years. Restful suite close to Main Street

Sue was an excellent host and the Carriage House was exactly what we needed. The area was quiet and very close to downtown Mystic.
