My friend and I had a wonderful saty at Eric's cottage. Comfortable accomidations, slept great! Patio was perfect for winding down and location was perfect!
We stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend and had the most amazing time. The area felt safe and we were so close to everything. We walked everywhere we needed to go. The place was very well kept and the bed was very comfy. Highly recommend!
The check in process was very easy. The street is pretty quiet other than a few locals hanging out outside and the church bells. We were able to park right in front of our building, the next day we were had to park on another street due to the Treme Fall Fest but that wasn’t a big deal. The place is nice, it has a real shabby chic quality that I liked. The courtyard was nice to spend some time in. The bed is a little squeaky, but still moderately comfortable . As far as cleanliness goes, the bedroom and kitchen were clean but the bathroom left a little to be desired. The bathroom is old and dingy but mostly clean. The ceiling also leaked when we were there but I alerted the owner and he was on it immediately. The location is the best part, if you’re down for walking you can be in the Quarter in minutes and the neighborhood has so much history and the people are so nice.
Cute little cottage a block over from the Quarter. Perfect size for 2-3 people. Make sure to ask for sheets for the sofa bed, if needed. Fluffy towels. Parking was hit or miss, but we were here during Mardi Gras & folks were parking there vs. tackling parking in the Quarter. One block from the streetcar/bus stop, when running!
Location can't be beat, especially for the price. Saved us a lot of walking. For the event we were there for, it was perfect. Exposed brick walls, a/c was cold, and it was quiet at night.
Has a local to New Orleans I will say this place is very close to the French Quarter just across the street. Has a market that is nearby. Roberts is close as well. Very good communication with the property owner house had everything you possibly need for a great time price was extremely reasonable
This was a great stay. We got a rideshare to walmart approx 3 miles away. We did a Gatorade run. It is located a few blocks from Armstrong Park. The wifi was really good. My friend video chat with toddler and we streamed movies until we fell asleep. We left the shutters closed which made it so great for day sleeping. Visit Bijou good food cheap. Great value and charm!!
We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s place in Treme. You couldn’t ask for a better location - within walking distance of multiple excellent coffee and breakfast spots, and a 10-15min walk to the French Quarter. Yet it’s in the Goldilocks zone where it’s nice and quiet in the evenings. The house was lovely, and the back courtyard area was *chef’s kiss*.
Check-in was a breeze, and Eric was a great host - accessible and close by. But the place was well stocked so we didn’t have to bug him at all.
We would definitely stay here again when we come back to NOLA.
The place was as described and had everthing you needed for a short stay. Check in was no problem..
Location was great an easy walk to anything in the Quarter.
The property was as advertised. Clean and well equipped. The back yard is lovely and we sat out there every morning and evening. We loved the neighborhood and the the people were very friendly. We were able to walk everywhere and dined like kings. I had never stayed in Treme before but will definitely stay there again.
Very nicely decorated and comfortable Creole Cottage in Treme, just two blocks to the French Quarter, and a short walk to Marigny and the CBD. I have visited New Orleans many times but this was my first time staying in Treme and I would definitely stay there again. This unit is shared with another larger one next door. Behind the home is a lovely courtyard where we had morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Communications with the owner were pleasant and helpful.
Eric is very responsive and allowed us to be flexible with our dates! We appreciated that so much!! The location is perfect for visiting New Orleans. You can walk to most things. Hoping New Orleans, as a whole, gets back up & running soon post Ida. We want to go back sometime so we can fully enjoy what New Orleans has to offer. Thank you Eric!!
So enjoyed staying at the the cozy cottage! Beautiful property and such a great location so close to the French Quarter! Eric was such a great host, very attentive! My heart goes out to the people of New Orleans and Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida! God speed to all those impacted!
Great for Jazz lovers who wish to sleep quietly, away from fray and in locals vs tourist ‘hood.
We loved trekking afoot from this sweet abode. Not ideal for kids, nor heavy drinkers afoot, as must be VERY careful crossing Rampart St at any hour: Fast cars on thoroughfares do NOT yield to pedestrians. Get FANTASTIC FRESH JUICE & Smoothies, etc. at Sprouts, a few doors away at Gov. Nichols intersection.
This was a very cute Cajun cottage just a few blocks away from the French Quarter. Many restaurants close by. I would recommend this VRBO for anyone staying in New Orleans.
Lovely little house perfectly located just outside of the French Quarter. Outside space is fantastic, quiet location a short walk to FQ, perfect for a visit during Mardis Gras.
Eric was very helpful and responded very quickly to all communications and provided excellent recommendations of things to do.
Would definitely return.
Very clean. Great value for the price. Not an upscale neighborhood but no issues. Excellent owner
Enjoyable. Small and quaint but on point. Very responsible management. They get the little things right, a case of water was on the table knowing how hot it is in August and July.
The cottage was quaint, quite & romantic. My husband and really enjoyed our evenings in the courtyard. The neighbors are friendly, and pretty quite. The home is located across from a church Where experienced a second line parade for a funeral. Eric is quick to respond to emails & has great suggestions for restaurants & surrounding activities.
Our stay in Treme was wonderful. The location was within walkin distance to the French Quarter and less than a 10 minute ride to the Superdome. There were tons of small coffee shops nearby and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
We were looking for a place to stay with an authentic feel to the area and this was it! Super cute and clean. Loved sitting on the back patio in the evenings. It was just a short walk to the French Quarter. Would definitely recommend!
