The Hideaway is a beautiful shepherd's hut in picturesque Filkins which sleeps two guests (no children aged two or under permitted), in a cosy nook bed, with a shower room. This cosy open plan home has a delightful log burner for the colder months, plush soft furnishings and a Smart TV in the bedroom nook, ideal for a film night! The wonderful outside space is fully enclosed for your four legged friend and is complete with a wood fired hot tub; the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring the Cotswolds.

This one bedroom shepherd's hut in Filkins is perfectly suited for those looking for a romantic break, exploring the local countryside and eateries. Four steps lead up into the hut, and then the single storey Dog friendly Cotswold accommodation is laid out as follows:

Wood burner, electric combi microwave oven, plug in two-ring hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, foldable dining table, bench, armchair and hairdryer

Lovely weekend stay

Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful Shepard's hut with a spacious hot tub. Based in a lovely little village with a cosy pub round the corner, serving nice food. The hut was clean and has everything needed for a weekend's stay. Only slight issue was how short the bed was as we are both tall, but can't be helped too much with the size of the hut.

Great location but overlooked.

Location for local attractions great. Beautiful hut, well equipped in the kitchen for a weekend stay. Towels and dressing gowns provided for the hot tub. Hot tub was a very nice addition however only minimal wood provided, certainly not enough to run a hot tub and wood fire for even one evening. To get the hot tub warm enough for three nights we used 4 bags of logs (purchased ourselves) so be prepared. Luckily we had good weather so didn’t need to use the log burner. Hut is located in the owners back garden. Fenced off in its own area with trees and a garden but you are facing their property and overlooked by windows in two directions, not so private if you’re in the hot tub.
