Great neighborhood, amazing stay!

The apartment was everything they listed, easy check in, easy check out, it's in walking distance to everything, neighborhood area full with coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shopping, overall everything was great!

Perfect apartment in nice neighborhood

Very easy communication via whats app with SH Barcelona. Great apartment well equipped with washing machine. Bed was very comfortable. Great location in a nice neighborhood. Walking distance to bus and metro. 45 min walk to waterfront.

nice spot in a great location

High marks for the location, the Eixample district is full of great stores, cafes and restaurants. You're never far from a Metro station, which means you have easy access to much of downtown Barcelona. This property is a great "home base" to plan out your day and rest after a long day of walking and touring the city. Two issues we had - our internet wasn't working when we got there, and we had to wait 5 days for it to be fixed, which was very inconvenient for accessing email, making reservations and downloading tickets. Communication with the property managers wasn't great, we had to call repeatedly to fix the problem and never had any updates on progress, until we got back on evening to find the matter had been fixed.Overall, these were minor issues, it's a great bargain, clean, and overall a very pleasant stay. Just make sure everything is working correctly during check in.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Communication with the company that managed it (SH Barcelona) was problematic. To start, I had already paid for the stay prior to arrival, but never was sent a receipt. They insisted that I show proof, so I showed my credit card statement which they were reluctant to accept and tried to ask me to pay twice (which I refused to do). After about 45 minutes of standing outside deliberating over the payment, they agreed to let us in and said they would verify my payment the following day during work hours. The second night of my stay, we got locked out of the apartment, which is completely my own fault. However, SH Barcelona has nobody available with an extra key after work hours to let you in. We had to work with locksmiths and were locked out for about 4 hours during the night. Our first locksmith was unable to open it after attempting for 2 hours as it seemed he didn’t have the necessary tools. He then called a second locksmith who fortunately had a different set of tools to open it, of course costing us 300 euro. (SH Barcelona was telling us that we would need to have the locksmith break the door down if he couldn’t open it, which to fix would have costed an exorbitant amount of money). Again, I understand that this was our own fault locking ourselves out, but it would have been a much different evening if we had someone to contact at SH Barcelona who had a spare key after work hours, as this issue could easily happen to anyone.

Clean cozy room. Check in ok. Location on VRBO misleading as 30mins minimum to Las Ramblas.Booking with the owner worse experience ever. Beyond useless. Received random payment sites by text with no explanation. Eventually paid a week before the booking. 3 days out from booking date the owner texts me to say if I don’t pay they will cancel the booking. Provided proof of payment from my bank but still stated they’d not been paid. The afternoon before my booking they “found” my payment.DO NOT BOOK WITH SH BARCELONA, they are either useless or tried to get me to pay twice.

We hadden een ander verblijf dan eerst geboekt, door onvoorziene omstandigheden. Maar het vervangend verblijf was even goed maar met een betere locatie, vlakbij Sagrada Familia. Men moet wel begrijpen dat 1 rolletje toiletpapier echt weinig is voor een verblijf van 5 dagen. Dit zijn geen dingen die we zelf zouden moeten gekocht hebben. Ook mag de communicatie van een toeristisch kantoor wel in het Engels gebeuren. Gelukkig heb ik een beetje Spaans geleerd en kunnen we online vertalen. Maar antwoorden in het Spaans op een Engels bericht is niet echt klantvriendelijk. Maar dat waren details, verder was alles prima.

L'appartement ayant été refait récemment, il dispose d'une piece agreable à vivre. Malgré tout , l'appartement ne dispose pas de fenetre donnant sur la rue mais seulement sur une mini cours intérieure avec les moteurs de climatisation. Mais l'i'nconvenient majeur est le bruit que l'on entend des autres appartements du fait d'un manque d'insonorisation .
