About this property

Lakefront home on a calm cove sitting on 4 acres!

Welcome to The Pink House.

Sitting atop 4 acres, this three story home is set up for family and friends to get together and enjoy the weekend, holidays or a long weeks get away. The main living area is an open concept with a big farm house dining table for all your meals and card games. The home comes with all kitchen accessories and linens. ***updated appliances and havent updated the pictures yet***. The back porch has spectacular views of Little Beaver Creek on Lake Hartwell and only minutes from Portman Marina. Clemson is only 19 miles or 28 minutes from here and with the house accommodating up to 16 people, this would be the perfect place to host a football weekend. Guests are more than welcome to bring a boat. Apple Island landing is right around the corner as is Broyles. The basement has two sets of bunk beds with its own full bathroom. The main level has the master suite off the living room with a king bed and its own full bathroom. ***updated shower and tile but no updated photos yet***. The third floor has 3 bedrooms with a combination of a queen bed, king bed, two single beds and two double beds. Also two full bathrooms as well. There is a total of 11 beds that sleeps 16 heads comfortably. A few disclosures: The house will be equipped with one set of toilet paper and paper towels upon arrival but due to bad apples in the past we don’t keep a supply on hand. Guests will need to purchase extra if needed. Soap and shampoo is also not provided as well as any laundry suplies. Please bring your own or purchase. Lake levels are beyond our control. Sometimes the water is up beyond the catwalk due to heavy rain fall and sometimes it’s a bit lower due to the Corps of Engineers needs. We try our best to “chase” the levels but it’s hard to keep up sometimes. It is also beyond our control on the yard crew. They come every two weeks and they may areive while on your stay. Early check ins and late checkouts are available for an additional charge and when the schedule permits it. We try and accommodate the best we can.

Summer lake house trip

The lay out of this house and size were perfect for four families and group size of 16. The lake is very nice for swimming and tow sports just out of the cove in the lake. Enjoyed our stay!

Best trip ever!

This house is perfect!! We took our giant gaggle of teenagers and we had the best time! The huge yard is perfect for corn hole and any games! The water off of the dock is deep and perfect for diving and teenager antics! We caught multiple fish and loved sitting on the swing and relaxing in the tubes off the dock. The basement was perfect for teen hangout and ping pong tournaments!!! We will be booking again!!!

First time in the area. House was great. It does need some updating and repairs, the host was made aware and relayed info to owner. We arrived early and the house had not yet been cleaned. They arrived within 30 minutes and had it spotless. Perfect for large families. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. The dock and lake were also awesome. It was surprisingly deep at the dock. Would definitely return to this house. If you stay here, you have to try Waldrop's. Just a couple of miles away and some good old fashioned home cooking.

We stayed for our daughter’s graduation from Clemson and this house was great for accommodating our family! The open concept kitchen/living area is perfect for allowing everyone to gather together. We have a few little issues, but the property manager was wonderful and things were health with promptly! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great week, house was awesome, exactly how it was listed, plenty of room for our family of 12. Close to grocery stores. The porch was great for our 82 year old mother to watch us at the lake and feel like she was apart of the fun!! I would recommend this house.

Wonderful!

Our stay at the Lake House was fantastic. We all had a great time. The house was perfect for 11 people, I never felt crowded, so much room. We spent our evenings on the back patio with a nice fire, the mornings were beautiful. I saw some spectacular sunrises! Just breathtaking, truly. I highly recommend staying here. The owner was very nice!! I would definitely stay there again. Thank you to Blair for letting us stay at the Lake House and being so kind.

While this certainly wasn't the best house I've stayed in, it also wasn't the worst. The location is nice and quiet and I'm sure the lake would be nice to use in the warmer months. We stayed for Thanksgiving and just needed a house to accommodate our family of 13, which it did.The accommodations were sufficient and there were enough kitchen tools to cook and serve; however, the house was older and needs some maintenance. It also wasn't very clean as the kitchen had small broken pieces of raw spaghetti noodles lying around when we got there. I felt like I was constantly finding them in every corner...There were broken/missing ceiling fan blades, the toilet seat in the master bath was cracked and needed replacement (if it isn't replaced, expect your butt to get pinched), some dining room chairs were broken and not safe to sit in, and certain electrical outlets didn't work. On a more positive note, the host's representative was very responsive with all inquiries and we had no major issues we couldn't work around. If only the owner would put a little TLC into the house, it could be a really nice house. My guess is it's their summertime hangout spot they use for watersports and parties.

Thanksgiving Family Fun!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful holiday at the Pink House. Plenty of space for our large family and the location is great! We had room to gather as a full group and also space for privacy. There were some hiccups with initial check-in communication due to issues with the app, but this was quickly acknowledged and resolved given the circumstances. Host was gracious to set up a contact for any immediate needs. The house was clean and comfortable. It is showing some age and could use some TLC in spaces, but the newer kitchen appliances, plenty of cookware/utensils and small odds and ends were fantastic to have available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Great location with lots of room

We had a wonderful stay at the Pink House. We had 15 family members and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather as a group or have their own space if needed. The house was clean and had nice appliances in the kitchen. Some of the features throughout the rest of the house were a little older but all worked well. The host was responsive and provided helpful tips as we stayed during the heat of summer. The covered dock was awesome and is situated in a nice quiet cove. Plenty of opportunities to swim, paddle board or kayak. All in all we had a wonderful time gathering with family and enjoying beautiful Lake Hartwell!
