Luxury romantic cottage with a hot tub by San Gimignano

This cottage for four is a delightful and luxurious getaway in the heart of Tuscany, very close to famous San Gimignano. The restoration and conversion of this building has been a labour of love from the owners who have created a well-equipped, spacious and romantic home with the most amazing views.

A large pergola faces east, giving long-reaching views over the Tuscan landscape, looking towards the hills of Chianti covered in dark green forests of evergreen oak, vineyards and olive groves and with hilltop towns perched on the rolling hills. Casa Andrea has a perfectly placed Jacuzzi Hot Tub: there's little better than sitting in the tub enjoying a glass of local wine and looking out at the joy-inducing view.

The house has an EV charger and very fast wifi, as well as underfloor heating, making the perfect spot to enjoy some remote working in luxury. During the summer the AC and cooling jacuzzi make it a great spot for a family holiday, with plenty of historic towns and landscapes to visit from the peaceful haven.

The view was fantastic, however the house was too close to the road and every time a car went by it make a wave of dust which landed on the table. This making it very difficult to eat a meal there. The house was VERY humid and the air conditioner did not work properly leaving everything wet. The bed linens, towels, and overall feeling of the cottage was humid. Unfortunately the humidity left mold on the primary bedroom and bathroom walls. On a more positive note, every time we called the property manager he did come out promptly..I personally will not recommend this unit.
