About this property

4bdrm Lake Michigan Home w/Beach Access

Located between Silver Lake and Pentwater, this house has all you need for a fun family vacation or nice quiet get away! Access to 750 feet of private association beach on Lake Michigan is just across the street and down the association steps.

Four bedrooms (one king, two queens and two twins) easily accommodate 8 guests. Two baths, one upstairs and one on main floor, both have showers (no tub).

While there is no AC, every room has a ceiling fan and the trees provide cooling shade along with the lake breeze.

The open kitchen accommodates 3 at the bar and a table for 6 and opens into the living room which has flatscreen smart TV with apps such as Hulu, YouTubeTV and Netflix. The back living area/game room includes a table for playing cards and games, a smart TV and a closet with beach towels and toys.

A washer and dryer are available for your use.

The large front deck with built in benches, a table and chairs, and charcoal grill is great for hanging out or enjoying meals outside. An outdoor fire pit is just outside with chairs for sitting around the fire and making s'mores.

Travel north 7 miles to the village of Pentwater to enjoy shopping, dining, ice cream, a fantastic candy store, amazing toy store and more! Travel south 7 miles to Silver Lake to hike the dunes, ride go carts, play at the arcade, putt putt or take a Mac Woods dune tour. Or simply enjoy walking along the Lake Michigan shoreline, a campfire or relaxing on the deck.

Vacation Getaway for Families

This property was everything we needed for our family vacation. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area. This house provides the perfect location to either go visit the shops at Pentwater, the fun at Silver Lake or just a quiet day at the beach. This was our 2nd time here and had a great time. Everything you need, lots of room and such a peaceful place.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Lake Michigan beach days are the best and what a wonderful place to stay! All the beach toys, chairs and towels you need for fun in the sun. Nice touch with coffee, creamer, sugar, tea and hot chocolate. Even travel cups to enjoy down at the beach. Great place!

Great place for a family. The neighborhood is quiet, with convenient beach access. The Noud cottage is a short drive from Silver Lake or Pentwater. I would recommend it to anyone. We have a family of 8, and there was plenty of room for all of us.

We enjoyed the front porch for eating dinner in a peaceful setting. FYI there is no air conditioning; the nights did cool down fine with fans. We had a few observations to report - and the owner was responsive when we informed her. Nearby is a BEAUTIFUL stretch of Lake MI beach. By walking down the block, you reach a county park with a newly build staircase which is easy to walk down.

Great location for a family

We had 8 people stay at the house and the location was great. The house is clean and comfortable. The area is quiet & convenient to Pentwater, Hart, & Silver Lake. It is lovely being steps from the beach, which is easily accessed by the association stairs right across the street. We found using the stairs at Cedar Point Park to be great for the two folks with mobility issues as the stairs are less steep and have a solid handrail. This was our second stay at this property and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house. Super easy access to the beach…just down many wooden steps. The house was very spacious with everything that we needed for a family of 8. The house was clean and comfortable. The house was in a great location… Set between the town of Pentwater and Silver Lakes. Lots to do within 10 minutes in each direction! I would highly recommend!

Our family has been coming to this area for years. We purchased this property 8 years ago and have only been renting for the past few summers. We treat it like home, very well kept and clean, and hope you enjoy it.

Why they chose this property

We love this location! It's only 1 hour from Grand Rapids, 2 from Lansing and 3 from Detroit. It's a gem located in a quiet neighbor with easy access to to the Lake Michigan beach, Silver Lake and Pentwater.
There is so much to do in this little known area! Climb the sand dunes at Silver Lake State Park or rent (or bring your own!) ATVs to ride the dunes in the State Recreation Area. Enjoy the arcade, zip line and track cars in Silver Lake or take a tour with Mac Woods Dune rides.
Continue south the visit the Little Sable light house that you can actually climb up in! Even a bit further south is the Cherry Point Farms Lavender Labyrinth. Great for a day trip to grab lunch!

Pentwater has restaurants, bars, shops and more! Take the kids to Mears State Park to burn off some energy at the playground or walk the pier.

What makes this property unique

Four bedrooms, two full baths and an outdoor shower accommodate multiple families nicely. The living area/game room in the back, along with family room with open kitchen, large deck in front, and fire pit allow for multiple activities at the property and access to the beach make for full, fun days on Lake Michigan.
