Words cannot describe the incredible view from this penthouse condo. It's mesmerizing!! You'll hear the waves crash below you along the coastline and marvel at the Pacific Ocean stretching out as far as you can see. Turtles, spinner dolphins, and whales are often visiting as well! Best view in Poipu and some guests say it’s the best view in Kauai!! And now, we have air conditioning individually controlled in each room for additional comfort during warm days.

Inside, the colors of the sand, sea and sky fill this 3-bedroom 3-bath completely remodeled property. You can start your day with coffee on the lanai and enjoy the sunrise. The kitchen has beautiful new granite counter tops, white cheery cabinets along with its incredible oceanfront view! It is fully stocked with everything you need: from the all-stainless steel appliances including a convenient extra large gourmet toaster oven, icemaker, Keurig coffee maker with capsules, to the spices, and all the utensils and sharp knives you need, you will want for nothing! This is among the many advantages of choosing a property with owners that live here rather than from an impersonal corporate management company that may not even be based in Hawaii.

The two master suites have king size beds, and a third bedroom is configured with your choice of either a king or two twin beds - perfect for up to three couples or two families. The upstairs master offers a spa-like feel complete with a soaking tub. The downstairs master offers a quiet garden view with rich deep koa wood tones. There is also a separate media loft with surround sound and a large Sony 70" ultra high definition flat screen TV with internet connection, perfect for relaxing and watching a show or movie after a day of exploring the island. We not only offer free WiFi - you'll enjoy the fastest WiFi available on the island.

Perhaps the best feature is that there is nothing between you and the ocean except 10 yards of grass lawn. It's a secluded, romantic, awe-inspiring location. If you're looking for excitement, you can also visit the local resorts that are just a short trip away. You will love staying here!

Poipu and Brenneckes beaches are an easy ½ mile walk on one side, and Shipwrecks beach and the Grand Hyatt are a stunning, easy ½ mile oceanfront path walk on the other.

Please note this property is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for people with mobility issues. The cost of having the “best view in Poipu” along the coast from this top floor Penthouse located in a very quiet 15-unit boutique complex is that there are stairs. There is a pathway with fewer stairs coming down from the entrance to the parking structure around the small plunge pool area, but the one and a half flight of stairs leading up to the penthouse is unavoidable. This is easily doable for people without mobility issues, but not as convenient as a ground floor unit without the view.

For your safety we provide Keyless and Contactless check-in and out and use Enhanced Cleaning protocols using disinfectants according to WHO & CDC guidelines. We always provide antibacterial hand soap at every sink.

What a view!

Beautiful Ocean Front; location, location, location!

We stayed here with our 2 adult children (so 4 adults total) for 6 nights. Great location - easy access to several beaches and restaurants. We took advantage of the athletic club - very nice amenity. The bedrooms and living space were comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed (including some spices and cooking oil!) Although the lanai does not have room for a lounge chair, the views are absolutely stunning, and we saw many turtles every day, and we ate our meals and played games at the outdoor table every day. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards were available. There are also two very large coolers, large enough to pack a picnic for a day at the beach. One suggestion we had was it would have been nice to also have a smaller, easy-to-carry cooler for quick trips to the beach. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great ocean view, comfortable & safe environment, fully stocked with all you need, close to many local excursions! New AC is a marked improvement although ocean breezes keep it comfortable as well. Girls’ getaway

Fabulous views and location!

We particularly enjoyed the ocean sound, view, whale watching, turtle watching and walking options. Yes, there are stairs but it was not an issue for us at all. Host, Doug was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. We would definitely come back.

Private Oceanfront with Surging Surf & Romantic Sunsets

Extraordinary private location on the SW Tip of the Garden Isle. This property features unobstructed views of the ocean, with soothing surf, an abundance of sea turtles, and romantic sunsets that sink into the open pacific. Convenient access to an excellent coastal walking trail, and a large TV with a very comfortable couch for evening entertainment. We very much enjoyed our one-week stay :-)

A home away from home

The view from this unit is spectacular. The lanai is shaded, offering a comfortable space to watch the turtles and dolphins. The unit is beautifully decorated and well appointed. It is spotlessly clean. It feels like a second home.

Spectacular!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this heavenly condo. The location is ideal, between Shipwreck and Poipu beaches, with stunning views. I can’t even begin to describe the sunsets! And so many sea turtles swimming by all day. The accommodations were great for us and our young adult children. Doug was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Tropical Penthouse Paradise

Amazing ocean view with plenty of room for 6! We had 2 couples and 2 teenagers and never felt crowded. Doug and Candy are excellent owners that quickly respond to any questions or concerns. Breakfast at the table on the lanai watching the turtles and whales and watching/listening to the ocean was peaceful and started each morning off right!

What a view! Turtles everyday, you can watch them forage in the waves right from your deck. Whales and dolphins, too. The ocean view fills the wide windows in the main room. You can explore small tide pools and dip in the pool. A good central location to set off to various destinations. The house was comfortable and well furnished. Great to have AC that can be individually controlled in each room.

Fabulous place

This condo is spacious, beautifully maintained and fully equipped. The view is unobstructed and as good as it gets at Poipu--and that is saying something. The owners were extremely helpful and communicative. The walk to Brennecke's and Poipu beaches, to the west, is about 8 minutes. To the east, the coastal trail begins about 2 minutes away and goes on for miles. It couldn't have been better.

Fantastic Ocean Paradise

Just like the picture! Wonderful property. We really enjoyed listening to the ocean waves as we fell asleep and as we enjoyed our wine overlooking the beautiful water and sunset. Absolutely deserves a 5 star rating! If I had to nitpick something it would be the parking ... its a bit tricky for a large vehicle but there are two parking areas and we managed just fine! And Doug and Candy are super!

Gorgeous place right on the water

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved the location: open the sliding doors to let it the sound of the waves,. go out the front door for the choir of bird song! We enjoyed breakfast and sea-turtle watching from the deck in the morning, and cocktails and sunset-gazing in the evening. We enjoyed having the A/C when we came in from a hike, or to cool our room at night. The kitchen was fantastically stocked with every utensil we could desire. The light and beachy interior was clean and tastefully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and speedy responding to any questions we had.

Gorgeous Poipu Penthouse

One of the most gorgeous vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The view is absolutely perfect. Saw whales and many turtles from the balcony. The interior of condo is well decorated and spacious. The upper level master has a spa feel to it. Bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower. Essentially all amenities provided toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers also available for use. Doug and Candy make the check in/out processes super easy Highly recommend. Pictures don’t do this property justice. Our family loved the property and location

Absolutely stunning views

The description of this place did not disappoint in real life! The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks right below us, the ocean stretching out in front of massive living room windows, and the Lanai were absolutely stunning. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue trying to get in upon arrival and a couple days later when we continued to have a problem getting in. It didn't like the last 4 digits of my phone number. Once we all got in the same page everything great. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a few things that needed attention but nothing that would affect the quality of our stay. When you have a place Oceanside, especially as close as this place is, there are bound to be issues. Maintenance is nonstop from the salt water. I would rent this place every trip if my family wants to come back to Kauai. Having the plunge pool so close was a real benefit. The Popui Athletic Club really didn't thrill the Grandkids. If they were younger than teenagers,it would have been perfect. Thank you for having such a wonderful place to share! Plenty of room for 2 teenagers and three adults!

Beautiful Views - wonderful caretakers

My husband, 20 month old son and I had a wonderful time. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We had a few issues when we got there (dirty floors, tub that wouldn’t drain, no blackout shades), but Doug and Lea got back within minutes of us texting them and everything was resolved faster than I thought imaginable. It was extremely impressive. The upstairs loft was an absolute dream to wake up in with views of the ocean. The only reservation I have is that the floor is fully tiled and has glass tables everywhere. So we had to keep a very close eye on our toddler. But all went well and he loved the beach toys they had available for him to play with. All in all it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

VRBO Does Not Give Me Sufficient Room to Describe Why We Enjoyed Staying Here

Excellent location and an owner who makes a concerted effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. Note that, for anyone who has difficulty with stairs: the unit is on the top floor but there isn’t an elevator. To reach the unit from the parking garage requires traversing 45-60 stair steps, depending on where you park, both up and down. Unit is updated and very clean. Nice bathrooms, a kitchen with good appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker (pods provided). Everything needed to cook. Plenty of utensils, cups, and glasses. The complex is extremely quiet. The showers have good water pressure, and the owner provides an abundance of plush towels, including beach towels. There are no vanities in the bathrooms, and if one is needed, the reader should bring a vanity mirror. Beds are comfortable (we like firmer mattresses, nothing out of the ordinary). Plenty of pillows, all good quality. Bedrooms (and the master bath) have overhead fans. Each bedroom has its own in-wall (not window) HVAC unit and individual thermostats. The living room area also has an overhead fan and in-wall HVAC unit. We saw sea turtles from the balcony. There isn’t a sand beach, but there is a large public beach, which a monk seal uses for daily naps, that can be reached via an 0.8-mile paved path. Nearby are a supermarket and numerous restaurants, both casual and upscale, within short driving distance. Highly recommended.

the view was spectacular but way too many steps and a maze to get into unit plus parking was challenging for our big suv.thank goodness we had A/C or could not have handled the heat but wall units are noisy - furniture needs to be cleaned and mattress in lower bedroom is awful! the owners were very attentive and provided great tips - there was broken window upstairs .and carpet needs replaced the unit itself was great for 6 adults just needs updating for the cost and disclose how difficult it is for older folks

Lovely property well equipped and appointed. Absolutely a terrific location Would be excellent overall if not for A/C that did not work well coupled with window which wouldn't close. It left the temperature in living room a bit high at times. Difficult contacting owner because phone number to use for contact in unit was different in email. Some fault on my apart. Owner very nice responsive on phone . I would book again.

This condo was wonderful! The location is breathtaking. Truly magnificant to wake up every morning to the crashing waves and watch the sunset at night. This location is simply STUNNING! The owners thought of everything! From the Keurig coffee in stock, to dish detergent, laundry detergent, and a Brita pitcher were great attention to detail and little conveniences that made is extra nice. I really appreciated a variety of quality wine glasses, the high quality bedding, and the beach chairs and boogie boards for our use. With a quick walk to two different beaches, stunning views, close to golf, shopping, and restaurants, this condo is a perfect place.We often rent VRBOs on vacation and this one STANDS OUT as one of the VERY BEST! If in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Even before moving here, we've always loved Kauai and have been frequent visitors since the early '80's. Like most people who choose to vacation here, we came to experience the incredible natural beauty and loved our time outside but hated returning to our hotel room that felt like every other city's hotel room.
