Ideally placed cottage with all the things you need ie soap washing up liquid t towels all the plates and glasses you need etc a home from home that welcomed our dog too. Fantastic enclosed garden lovely and warm cottage with a great shower
Labernum Cottage is a comfortable house a short walk from the centre of Bedale. Access was simple using the convenient key box. The cottage has everything you would want for a trouble free stay. Terry, the owner, was very kind when we left something behind and forwarded it to us. I would highly recommend a relaxing stay at Labernum Cottage.
A lovely and comfortable, clean cottage in a fab location with a gorgeous garden. The property has everything you need. The only constructive criticism we can offer is the decor is tired and in need of a freshen up.
Lovely cottage, larger rooms than you would expect of a victorian terrace and very well equipped with everything we needed for our break.Communication with the host was excellent and the location quiet and charming. We travel to the area once a year to visit family and will definitely use this home again
Laburnum Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring Bedale and all that North Yorkshire has to offer. Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely garden, and really just everything you need to enjoy a pleasant break. Communication with Terry, the host, is excellent, so no issues there. Second visit to the cottage and would recommend. We will definitely return.

Not good for parking is a problem
Holiday was tidy clean could do with updating big problem is parking states parking outside with a permit this is definitely not the case its a first come first served if parking full its a long walk back as nearest car parking is in the town after speaking to locals they said parking is a issue
The cottage had everything we needed. the garden was lovely and the dogs loved it. we were in walking distance of the shops but it was quiet & beautiful. the people were helpful and friendly. I understand why it's booked up 10/10.
We were visiting family in the area who were only 5 minutes away by care. Bedale had some nice shops and we went to various interesting place round about.

Bedale stay
The property is in a good location for Bedale and surrounding area. It is well equipped and has a fantastic garden & a very comfortable double bed. However some of the cutlery had to be washed and parking is difficult even with the permit. A new front door may give a better first impression.
We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day.
