Dales retreat
The Coach House was a lovely quiet location for a relaxing week away in the Dales. It had all the essential amenities and was very clean and well presented. We enjoyed being so close to Cauldron Falls and that we could walk to the village shop and pub in 5 minutes. It was an ideal location for visiting Hawes, Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle.

The location was wonderful and the owners were very friendly and quick to put right anything which went wrong. Other reviews we read said it was cold. We didn't find that at all, in fact we had to turn off the storage heaters some days. Unfortunately the paint they had used on the dining room table wasnt suitable and so the baby kept getting it under his nails. The living room chairs could do with being more comfortable. We had a lovely holiday and would certainly recommend it to others P.s. nothing to do with the cottage but we wouldn't recommend the travelling fish and chip van which comes to the village. Chips weren't cooked and was tasteless compared to our local at home Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a delightful stay at the Coach House.
We had a delightful stay at the Coach House. The cottage had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family. We made lots of use of the extensive grounds with several barbecues, lots of games of football and plenty of playing in the river. The owners were friendly and helpful. We had some lovely walks in the local area and we’d recommend the Street Head Inn for an evening meal, which is a pleasant 1.8 mile walk away across the fields. We would definitely consider returning to this cottage again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cute property in a lovely rural setting. Property itself was very tired decor wise. Windowsills were littered with dead lies and cobwebs hung from lampshades in the kitchen / lounge. Heating was switched off so property was really cold for first two nights. Tried switching electric heaters on, but nothing happened. Called property contact and calls were repeatedly diverted to message service for first 36 hrs. Left messages. Finally spoke to someone on the second evening and they came round to check the heating - it worked from the following morning.
