About this property

Cosy Annex cottage of a Grade II Listed Buliding near Ludlow, pet friendly.

We are amidst the Shropshire farming community but no longer a working farm. The self-catering cottages are adjoining the owners, 16th Century Half Timbered Farm House overlooking the historic Church in the picturesque hamlet of Milson.

Beautiful views and Gardens.
Guests are welcome to enjoy and appreciate our large gardens taking in arboretum, orchard and formal ornamental gardens tended with great passion by us. Our garden has plenty of space to play, and is home to our pet sheep and rescue chickens; whom are very friendly!

Situated in our garden is our cottage BBQ hut, for all year round BBQ’s, and our cottage MasterSpa hot tub, for moonlight star gazing. Both are available to hire for your stay.

Shropshire Location near Ludlow

We are located only 12 miles from the Shropshire town of Ludlow, and 4 miles from the market towns of Cleobury Mortimer and Tenbury Wells. The holiday cottages at Church House Farm are conveniently located for exploring this lovely area. There are plenty of things to do for the children. They don’t need to be cooped as you can fill your days and week with plenty of attractions from younger to older children; our children loved West Midlands Safari Park (and we did), also Ray’s Farm feeding the animals.

We have absolutely loved staying at this cottage and could not have hoped for a better experience. The cottage is cosy with four rooms and a fenced front garden (perfect for our dog to sit out and sunbathe) and the hosts are just lovely. The property has beautiful gardens with orchards, chickens and sheep, lot of birdlife for the twitchers. There is a hot tub that you an use for an extra charge, we did not use it but it looks great. The area is very quiet, apart from the animal noises you can't hear a thing. There are lovely pubs, walks and other points of interest.Rob and his family are really friendly and helpful. They provide clean linens etc. every week, gave us some fresh eggs, allowed us to receive post and brought it to us, helped when we had a problem with our car and printed documents for us that we needed.I cannot recommend enough! Wish we could stay longer.
