OutsideAcross the pathway in front of the cottage is the enclosed garden, laid to lawn and flowering shrubs, with a close view of the church below and fields beyond. Nestled between rolling hills and scenic coastline, the village offers a peaceful rural atmosphere with easy access to the beautiful landscapes of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is just a mile away from wonderful South Milton Sands with its long beautiful sandy beach, great for swimming. It is also very close to the pretty village of Thurlestone with its 18 hole golf course, sub-post office store, 4 star Hotel and Village Inn.All the local beaches offer fantastic opportunities for swimming and other water sports, particularly surfing at Bantham and South Milton Sands. Also on your doorstep is the South West Coast Path giving easy access to endless walks along the coastline, over the cliffs to the village of Hope Cove to the south and Bantham to the north.Kingsbridge is the nearest town, two and a half miles away and is ideal for shopping, with two separate supermarkets and an interesting variety of independent shops.
