Step inside and discover a warm, welcoming living area where original character meets modern comfort. A romantic woodburner creates the perfect atmosphere for evenings snuggled by the fire—whether you’re reading, watching TV, or planning the next day’s adventures.
Bespoke Galley Kitchen
The custom-made galley kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, offering everything you need to prepare meals with ease. A separate utility room, located just across the rear passage, provides extra convenience for longer stays.
Bathroom & Bedroom (First Floor)
From the living area, climb the cottage staircase to reach the serene bedroom and bathroom:
Bathroom: A classic layout with bathtub and overhead shower, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom: A peaceful double bedroom furnished with pine pieces, a walk-in wardrobe, and charming original features.
Private Balcony: A stable door opens onto a beautiful south-facing balcony—the perfect morning coffee spot with captivating views across the countryside and down to the village.
(Please note: as a period property, the upstairs doors are slightly lower than standard.)
Outside Space
Just across the pathway is your private enclosed garden, a tranquil setting with lawn, flowering shrubs, and views of the village church and fields beyond. With multiple seating areas—ideal for al fresco dining, reading, or simply enjoying the sun—you’ll have plenty of opportunities to unwind outdoors.

Staying Rules
The owners kindly ask that guests look after this cherished home:
- Please remove shoes when entering the cottage
- No smoking inside the property or in the garden
- No pets
- No candles or open flames
- An initial supply of logs is provided; extra logs available locally
- No children or infants (including babes in arms)
Guest Access
Full property access is provided for your stay. Fresh Escapes will send arrival details 48 hours before check-in. The cottage is reserved exclusively for your use.
