Three bedroom pet friendly property with fire, sauna, decking, BBQ in Aviemore

Appplewood Cottage is situated in a quite cul-de-sac at Dalnabay, set beneath the Cairngorm Mountains and just 5 minutes walk to the village of Aviemore’s shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Applewood Cottage has a beautiful new garden feature of decking area with seating and pizza oven and brick BBQ for some great Al fresco evening during your stay. There is also a garden shed which is great for storing bikes etc. Inside the property there is one master double bedroom with en-suite and sliding patio doors which open out to the enclosed back garden. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom which also faces the back garden and the third bedroom a is a bunk bedroom with two bunk beds one adult and one smaller bunk bed for children. There is a family size bathroom in the hall with a bath and over shower.

The sitting room and dining area will seat 8 guests. There are two sofas and two arm chairs and a good size dinning table and chairs to cater for a large family.

This property has the added feature of an indoor sauna to relax in after a active day out skiing or hill waking in the Cairngorm National Park. After your sauna you can snuggle up with a wee dram or hot drink by the large wood burning stove in the sitting room. There will be a welcome basket of logs, kindling and firer lighters ready for you at the property for your first nights fire during October-April. If you would like to use the fire out of season we are happy for you to do so, just pop into our reception and ask for some logs.

We understand how hard it can be to find good quality 4 star accommodation that welcomes your pet as well, so we are please to say that this property will welcome up to 2 dogs. To make your pet feel really welcome they will even get their own doggie welcome pack to use during their stay. If you are away with your dog you will be pleased to know that many of the pubs and restaurants are dog friendly in Aviemore and the surrounding area.

Applewood Cottage is fully equipped to meet all your holiday needs with the owners paying great attention to all the little things you may need during your stay. Your property is close to our onsite reception which is open 7 days a week 9am-5pm if you need any help during your stay or advice on places to visit in the area.

Bungalow: All on the ground floor, with step to entrance.

Living/dining room: With wood burning stove, two sofas and two chairs. Dinning table and chairs for 8 guests.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a ensuite with shower over bath and a toilet.
Bedroom 2: With two twin beds.
Bedroom 3:With Two bunk beds. One full size for adults and a second smaller for children.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail and under floor heating.
Sauna: Indoor sauna with shower cubicle next to sauna.
Garden: With decking area with seating, bar,BBQ and pizza oven. Grassed area with swing and slide for children and bike shed for bikes.
