About the host
Hosted by Terre Sisson
Two generations of the Sisson family offers this home. We have several long term rentals in Charlottesville and after needing a space to stay for a family trip and finding the joys of a well equipped and comfortable short term rental, we decided to offer this perfectly located city cottage to travelers looking for something better than a hotel. We are clean freaks ourselves and we like comfort and convenience so all of this and more have been built in to Knotty Pine.
Why they chose this property
We moved to Charlottesville from the DC area to find a calm friendly new home base about 15 years ago. It is the perfect place to live or visit. I wish that we had Knotty Pine to stay in as we found our bearings as it is perfectly located in the small town of C'Ville.
What makes this property unique
There is something about the country cottage feel of this place that makes it special. With a porch to enjoy the breezes (with a fan should the day be still!) and ample inside space with all of the amenities that make life comfy and full - this is simply a lovely little home.
