K Bay is a marine sanctuary in one of Hawaii's culturally rich locations. Snorkel at Kealakekua Bay or hike to Captain Cook Monument and observe unusual fish. observe dolphins and seasonal whales from afar. Share special moments with family and friends as you visit historic Napo'opo'o Park and learn about Kealakekua Bay's history. Manini Beach is becoming a walking community. Guests can take an early morning swim, jog to local beaches, enjoy a game of table tennis at home, or picnic at Manini Beach Park all without jumping in your car.

Kealakekua Bay is a marine sanctuary for spinner dolphins, beautiful fish and coral reefs and a resting spot for winter migrating whales. Try a paddle board on K Bay, challenge yourself to hike to Captain Cook Monument or take a kayaking tour to snorkel and see unusual fish, coral reefs and, if you are there at the right time, dolphins!
Manini Point House's location offers so much without driving in your car. Our Guest Book, comments from former guests, your hosts and our concierge will provide plenty of local know how and activities to fill your days. Book an evening swim with manta rays. Take a quick morning dip at the bay,. Arrange for a massage upon your return from the beach via a phone call. Take a walk through historic sites including Napo'opo'o Beach Park, or walk to Keei Beach--a locals favorite surfing spot with a beautiful white sandy beach.
Just 4 miles away is Puuhonua 'O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park treasure that is filled with legends of Old Hawaii. The park offers hiking trails along the coast as well as picnic grounds. Two Step, adjacent to Hawaii's National Park, is a favorite swimming & snorkeling spot with a little beach for children.
Visit Halemaumau Crator at Volcano National Park to see where the latest eruption occurred, just a 2 hour drive away! Book a helicopter ride over Kilauea Volcano and waterfalls! Enjoy Green Sands and Black Sands Beaches and South Point along the way. Travel North, and visit historic Hawi, and Pololu Valley. Plan to visit farmers' market in Hilo, and travel over Saddle Road. We love it!
We feel so lucky to have stayed in this sweet neighborhood several times and this is hands down our favorite house. It’s absolutely beautiful and filled with aloha—the upstairs suite is so comfortable. Elizabeth and Steve are great hosts! This is definitely our happy place.

Beautiful home beautiful location but neighbors had chickens and roosters so if you don’t mind the noise from the roosters then you will love this home. It’s too bad as the owner can’t do anything about this issue I’m sure.

We live on Konacopia Farm, about 10 minutes away, and are happy to take our Manini Point House guests on a tour of our special Organic "botanical garden" that includes coffee and mangoes, avocados, citrus, sour sop, and much more! Manini Point House is just a two minute walk from lovely Manini Beach Park at Kealakekua Bay. K Bay and the surrounding area is a Hawaiian treasure and a state preserve. Manini Point House is located in a little village community and the neighborhood gives you an opportunity to visit with friendly local people as well as folks visiting from around the world. The "aina", this beautiful Hawaii Island, is a wonderful place to learn about the Hawaiian culture while visiting historical sites including Puuhonua O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park, just 4 miles away. If you are looking for an alternative to a generic resort for your holiday, Manini Point House offers the opportunity for an authentic Hawaiian experience in one of the most pristine and enjoyable locations of Hawaii Island..
