Nestled just a 2-minute walk from the serene Kealakekua Bay, this property offers the perfect escape for your island getaway.

Golfers will appreciate the easy access to the Kona Country Club, just a 21-minute drive away. Whether you're seeking a relaxing retreat or an adventure-filled vacation, this property has everything you need for an unforgettable stay in Captain Cook.

Relax on the balcony and soak in the breathtaking ocean views, or venture out to the nearby Two Step Beach (Honaunau Bay), just a 8-minute drive away.

Back at the house, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a blender, baking pans, tons of cooking utensils and all the necessary appliances to whip up delicious meals.

Unwind in the living room, enjoy a movie on the smart TV, or take advantage of the free WiFi to stay connected.

For your convenience, the home also features a washing machine and dryer, as well as 2.5 bathrooms, towels, and basic toiletries.

We loved everything about the house! We spent most of our time on the spacious lanai -- beautiful place to relax as the sun came up, enjoying an afternoon break, chilling before bed. Kitchen is well equipped and great for cooking at home. Seems like such a nice community. Very quick walk to the fabulous beach park. Would love to live here!

Perfect for our family stay. Fully equipped beautiful home. Relaxing, bird watching and family board games on the lanai. Snorkeling at gorgeous Manini Beach. Kayaking across Captain Cook Inlet.All in a secluded neighborhood far from the maddening crowds. The whole family loved the Aloha House!

End of summer getaway

Fabulous from top of the lanai morning coffee to warm outdoor shower after snorkeling. Don’t have leave this nestled-in paradise in order to have the best getaway ever! Super clean, full of every amenity, even those you didn’t know you needed. Hosts were awesome and location couldn’t be better. Cant wait to return to this slice of heaven🌈

Clean and well stocked with necessary items. If you have travelers who have trouble sleeping with outside noises due to the koki frogs and early morning chickens you should plan to have access to a white noise app on your phone. It really helped. Altogether a great place to stay.

If you want to truly experience Hawaii this is the place!!! If you love nature, swimming , snorkeling, then you found Paradise!! It was the perfect location to get around the whole island. My wife and 3 kids loved the accommodations and area.

Nice place right on the cove

Great to walk to kayak rentals on the captain cook cove. House was nice for the family. Huge wrap around deck was perfect for coffee and breakfast. Some things didn’t work during our stay but discussed with owner and she’ll be taking care of things.

Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful getaway! The house and location was amazing. Fun tropical jungle sounds in the evening and Mangini was a dream. We did a mix of cooking and eating out. Be sure to try Rebel Kitchen and yes, the Lilikoi cheesecake at the coffee shack lives up to its hype. Not ready to go home;)

Casey and Beth Kirwan, owners. Beth lived in Hawaii for some of grade school. We currently live in Hawaii part time and Sonoma County, CA part time. My father lives in Hawaii and is a coffee and mango farmer on the Big Island.

Why they chose this property

When we bought the property, it was all over grown with a rusty old car in the middle of the lot. We designed and built the Aloha House specifically as a vacation rental. We wanted to create a home to share that is comfortable for families to use as if it was their own.

What makes this property unique

The house is situated in a great little neighborhood. It is about a two minute walk to the Pacific Ocean (west of the house) and to Kealakekua Bay (North of the house). The location is a perfect home-base for exploring around the island.

The house is beautiful, with its huge mahogany and glass doors that open up to the large lanai. Yet it is very comfortable. We built and furnished it for durability, so no one has to worry about anything.
