The suite was clean but the property was not the best. The lobby was filthy, had cockroaches and the staff were rude because we rented through VRBO so they wouldn’t help us check in and get parking passes. The property staff leave a rollout trash can in the hallways for guest to put their garbage from their suites and so you constantly smell garbage by the elevator. We never saw anyone cleaning the pools or pool area which is very concerning. The elevators are extremely small and I am very claustrophobic and they were so wobbly it felt unsafe but walking up 11 flights of stairs was not going to work for us. The suite was exactly as described but when we woke up the first morning there, the popcorn ceiling was coming off onto the floor. We were afraid this would continue and hit us on the heads or drop on our faces while we slept, so we tried to get a refund from the host and move. They refused saying it was happening because they cleaned the ceilings recently (really?!?). I work in real estate and my family does construction so I know this is not true. Hopefully they can get this fixed before the next guest. Even though we booked for 7 nights we left and went to a better hotel next door at Sandy Beach for the rest of our stay and it was perfect!

Pool was nice. Floor in condo should be mopped after every guest, it was sticking and sandy. White socks got very black. Needs more baking pans, only a top to the boiler pan does no good without a bottom. Would be nice to know what burner you are turning on and settings (can't read anything). Otherwise it was a nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oceans One!! Ellie was a wonderful host!. The unit needs updating but we were very comfortable. Thanks for your attention with repairs, Ellie! This made for an enjoyable birthday weekend!! We will vome back to this property in the near future!!

Nice Accommodations

The unit itself is very spacious. It was lovely and clean. The only drawback is the parking and loading//unloading. The parking is across the street. It would be nice to have some luggage carts at the checkin facility located in the guests parking. We would probably stay there again.

Awesome stay!

Had an awesome time. Condo was in good shape. Ocean view. Loved the separate balconies from the bedroom and living room. Ice maker on fridge never worked and coffee maker light didn’t work, but that didn’t matter. Will be back! Hopefully same room!

I have stayed in many Vrbo places. This one was by far the best. The views was unbeatable.. the condo itself was everything we wanted. I stayed there with family and friends. Everyone thanked me for choosing this one. Ellie was a delight to deal with. We already booked for next year with her for a longer period.

Condo was very much like the pics show. Lighting is bad throughout the condo. When it said boardwalk was one minute away, it really was a lot further about a mile to where all the action was. The place was clean. Some of the bulbs were not working and were not very bright, especially in the bedrooms. No ceiling fans, which would’ve been helpful in the bedrooms. The place showed a lot of wear and tear. Could use some updating. Luggage racks would’ve been helpful. Extra blankets would’ve been nice too. We only found one especially since the comforters were very light. A broom would’ve been nice to have to help with the sand, even though there was a vacuum. If you’re having any delivery or Ubers, make sure to use the ocean one address instead of the registration address. We enjoyed our stay.

Checkin info was not accurate so had to reach out to owner for information. Didn’t get the building code or parking pass until the following day. Place is very simple but nice. Could use a little cosmetic work to freshen up the place.

For what it cost, it was a little disappointing. Needs some work done on it. It said for up to 10 people but the 5 of us were ok. Not enough seating for 8 or 10. Needs cleaning supplies like a mop. It was nice just needs a little tlc.

Great for younger people not for families

Unit was clean and the view is great but the building is old and needs a lot of work and attention. The pools were so dirty that we didn’t dare using them. This unit is great for young single people who just care about the location and view. not for families. Host communication was great and there were a couple of issues that she took care of within 24 hrs but when I go on vacation I don’t want to deal with issues I just want to relax. Overall it was an ok stay.

Great place - Stayed 2 weeks - Worth the cost

When we arrived, we discovered the cleaning crew forgot to complete a process but we called our host Ellie and she took care of it immediately.This condo has an awesome view of the beach. It's on the 11th floor but it's so close to the ocean that it doesn't seem that high. We had several dolphin sightings and two of them were dolphins within 30 or 40 yards from shore (awesome). We had great views of the sunrise. There is a pier a short distance up the beach. Having the pier being part of the sunrise picture adds a nice touch. We love the fact that we were only one block from the 16 block boardwalk. Broadway at the Beach is about 10 to 15 minutes away and the Tanger Outlet on 501 is a little over 15 minutes away.We enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two negatives were that the fan didn't function in the master bathroom and the girls sleeping in the room with two beds said their beds weren't very comfortable causing their backs to ache a little. The King beds in the other two rooms were comfortable.We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Had a bit of an issue during check-in (the email sent by VRBO included a link for access - however it didn’t work). I then called the VRBO 800 number and was hung up on. Once I contacted the property owner she graciously provided me with the needed information. The “common” areas of the building were filthy, we observed garbage left around the pool area, the floors in the elevator had a layer of sand, and the hallways had sand in the carpet. Although our unit was clean by comparison we did see hairs in our bathtub and the light the master bath vent did not work. Other small items of note - the instructions asked that we start the dishwasher before leaving but there was no dishwasher soap and the unit did not have any “kleenex”. With that said the children in our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay which included using the pool/beach as well as the easy access to the boardwalk.

Ok place, awful neighborhood

The listing made it seem a lot nicer then it was. No bar as listing said, no smart TVs, Wi-Fi was terrible, cleanliness was not the best, place could use some updates, building that it’s located in is dirty, needs updates as well, pool was dirty and hot tub was closed. There was a panty liner laying next to the pool. Location is absolutely terrible, lots of drunks and druggies and homeless people hanging around it, the smell of weed is something that us and our children were smelling everyday. Just not the safest location at all. We had talked to some locals and they told us that the location isn’t a good area. Not a good place to take a family at all, maybe better for people that are there to party. It was not worth the money we paid at all. Very disappointed with the place with the amount of money paid for it. We were expecting a lot, lot nicer for the price to say the least. A perk for some may be that it’s close to downtown.

This property has been completely updated. It’s right in the middle of downtown myrlte beach with walking distance to all restaurants and everything else right on sand which is what most people prefer rather than have to drive to most things. Of course when you are right in the middle of downtown walking distance to all things it’s busy with all types of crowds just as it is in New York City and all other busy popular areas in this country. So I’m sorry it wasn’t to your liking perhaps in the future you should look at something more remote and away from the popular area of town and right on the sand.

We had a fantastic stay at this condo at Oceans One Resort! Everything was exactly as advertised, and communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.The condo itself was wonderful. The beds and bathrooms were nicely kept, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, and there were plenty of dishes and everything we needed for our stay. Having two balconies was a great bonus, and the ocean views were absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise!The location is hard to beat. There are some attractions within walking distance and plenty of shopping, restaurants, and activities just a few minutes away by car. Parking was easy, and the check-in process across the street was simple.One of the best features of the property is the beach access. The pool area is right off the beach, and it’s just a very short, easy walk to the sand. You really couldn’t ask for a more convenient location or better access to the ocean.The resort’s pool areas were nice and very family-friendly. They could use a little more frequent cleaning, and one hot tub was out of service while another had jets that weren’t working. The former indoor pool is now more of a covered pool with the windows removed, but we actually enjoyed that setup. These were minor property-related issues and certainly didn’t take away from our stay.Would definitely stay again!

View was nice but the atmosphere of the surroundings was less than what was expected for the price. Also, it was not previously disclosed to us prior to check-in that the beach was being restored, so that was very unsightly & the water was filthy. The unit itself was mostly nice, but the entire building needs maintenance and repairs. The beach was filthy. Just sad that it was covered with rocks and pieces of glass and dirty water and at least a foot drop off. Not maintained for the renters of these properties.

Nice location

The condo was ok, it can use some updating.. the furniture was peeling and old, the beds was very uncomfortable. A lot of black mold on the ceilings. We was scheduled to come during the hurricane, which caused us to check in a day late. The outdoor pool and amenities where destroyed due to the hurricane, but we made the best out of it.
