This secluded spot in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just 1.5 miles from the coast and Burnham Overy village itself boasts a charming creek-side harbour, unspoilt salt marshes and beaches. Keen nature enthusiasts can catch the ferry from the Quay to Scolt Head Island, a bird and seal sanctuary, or walk the vast expanse of sands and pine woods at the nearby famous Holkham Beach. Visit the vibrant village of Burnham Market under 2 miles away, which offers a village-style green surrounded by striking Georgian buildings and a wide selection of independent shops and cafes, the perfect spot for a peaceful picnic amidst a warming rural village ambience.
Up the wooden steps and through the characterful barn-style door, you’ll find a haven of homely charm within this cosy shepherd’s hut. The light and airy open-plan living and sleeping space embraces the rich heritage and ambience of the local scenery; the roaring feature wood burner sets the scene for pure relaxation on those cooler evenings. The compact kitchen and fold-down dining table provide everything you need to enjoy a romantic meal, whilst the cosy double bed tucked away in its own secluded spot beckons tired travellers to relax and unwind amongst its crisp, white linens at the end of a busy day.
