The garden cottage is a little piece of heaven- the view can only be experienced because a photo does not do it justice. In May, the scent of the jasmine wafts up and the swifts twitter and you can watch the Tuscan hills turn blue as the sun fades- beautiful! The cottage itself is lovingly fitted out - every detail fits a design which makes use of the space and is also an aesthetic delight. The bed is comfortable and the area is peaceful so a good night’s sleep is easy. Our hosts were welcoming and communicative and the dogs are very friendly too! We did not have our own transport and unfortunately the bus staff were on strike, but honestly it was a great excuse to spend time here rather than fight the crowds down in the city. I just dipped in and out of the lovely pool and sat on the patio, a real holiday! My husband did walk down though and it took 40 minutes to Santa Croce church, which is nothing for him. Highly recommended! Thank you!
