We had a very nice time in the area. We were able to come back and relax in this spacious place. It was nice that we were able to all have a little bit of quiet time to ourselves. Even saw our first bear! Thanks!
The rental was very nice. We did have someone in a wheelchair and the living areas were upstairs so we did have some complications, but we managed. The rental was on top of the mountain with wooded views. We love the mountains. I would definitely recommend for a young family.
The location was perfect. Road to the property was a bit narrow. Cabin could use some updating and a deep cleaning. Walls were dirty and some cob webs above the kitchen cabinets. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey and foos ball table. It was close to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the zip lining. The cabin was huge.
Cool place but could be better with a few improvements. Was excited about the downstairs game room but unfortunately the air hockey table didn’t work, the foosball table did not have balls, there was no sand on the shuffleboard table, and the pool table was not in the best condition. The place was clean but definitely looks better in the pictures. Had a good stay but would’ve been better if the games actually worked
The check in instructions never came, and I had to call host continuously to get a response. Finally got a response over an hour after check in time. Host never responded to messages on App and was unable to leave a voicemail on his phone number. None of the TVs worked, the fireplace did not work, unable to play pool because the sticks had no tips on them. At least the hot tub worked and the place was clean.
Property was nice. The lock seemed to be iffy at times and the property manager was late to respond when it was day of check in. Cleaning company was still there when we arrived at 4pm. Close to gatlinburg, didn’t have an issue with the amount of bath towels, seemed to have enough for 10 people. I would recommend to people.
The communication with the property manager/owner was spotty at best. If he answered my question it was never very timely and they seemed to be unaware of the condition of the property. Where do I start??? On the day before check in I reached out to the property owner for check in instructions and never received a response. The morning of i followed up again, to which they responded after lunchtime. It was a cute little cabin tucked away and felt very private. However, as soon as we got there we started to have a little trouble. The key code box must have been dying because we would put the code in and it would sound like it was working but wouldn't unlock the door. Good News is they had a key in a lockbox that was easily accessible after a text and call to the owner. After entering the property we realized the property was a little run down. The refrigerated had all the shelves in the door removed and the main drawer shelf inside was broken (everything had to fit on top shelf of refrigerator. The floor was not clean (black dog hair everywhere) so I had to sweep and vacuum for my own sanity. The pool table is ruined, bumpers broke, felt peeling, etc. The dryer didn't blow hot and when I reached out to the owner he said use a certain setting, when that didn't work i reached back out and he never responded. The coffee pot doesn't work right. Just all kinds of equipment that is not in working order, not what you expect on vacation rental. At the end of the trip the instructions are to strip the beds. leave bedspreads and put sheets in the washer. This made me wonder if the bedspreads get washed. Not enough towel linens or tp for the amount of people that were supposed to be there so we had to get more of our own. At the end of the day if you are going to own a vacation property you need to make sure the appliances and amenities are all in good working order. When I shared info with him, he wouldn't even acknowledge me and that was frustrating.
Good location just outside of the arts and crafter community, close to Gatlinburg. Plenty of space and level parking.
The house should sleep 14 if couches pull out but there are nowhere near enough towels for that many. Not sure if the couches have bedding inside them but the closet with extra bedding only had pillows and a blanket. Just a heads up.
The entry door has a coded lock but the door doesn’t close properly so if you just hit the lock button, it seems like it’s locked but it isn’t. We locked it from the inside and went out a different door.
They have BED BUGS (they were adult size bed bugs) in the downstairs bedroom the first bed had bed bugs, the second bed when check the covering was already ripped & there were holes in the mattress! Down stairs tv you couldn’t even get to work! Go upstairs the first bedroom also had bed bugs!! People in our trip had bites on them! When called the property manager he apologized but it HAS TAKEN US A MONTH TO EVEN GET A REFUND & he hasn’t even refunded all over money & repeatedly ignores us! Very disappointed that this was a family vacation for my husband got to come in from deployment & our daughter gets bitten & we find bed bugs! & had to leave everything in our cars parked in the sun for days to ensure we didn’t bring them into our house! Upstairs shower didn’t work good at all! The hot tub looked old & gross. You Couldn't even tell what each button did to use it! SAD OUR FIRST TRIP TO TENNESSEE AS A FAMILY & had to deal with the most DISGUSTING THING YOU COULD!

Looks can be deceiving
From the description, the photos & reviews , we thought this place would be great for a weekend trip with family. We learned that the hot tub was not clean and was also not heated and ready for a guest. The foosball table was missing the ball, the air hockey didn’t have all the pieces, the upstairs remote did not work. This was a huge disappointment considering we had 5 kids on the trip. I understand some of these things could be overlooked, but I would not consider this luxury at all.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful very comfortable the management was very responsive they took care of all needs for this location in a timely manner and very friendly. I really appreciate the host of this location. We were sad there was not a public pool for the location but overall I highly recommend. 5 stars and will stay again.
Great location and cabin! Very spacious and quiet surroundings. Close to everything.
Cons:
No Mountain View. If there is one, the trees blocked it. This was a major disappointment as it was the main reason for booking this cabin.
upon check-in/arrival floors had not been swept nor vacuumed.
Towels smelled moldy
Teflon pans were scratched.

Where do I begin?
It is important to note that I have left high ratings for properties in the past.
Upon arriving at the cabin there were broken egg shells and popcorn on the deck when we walked up. The kitchen floor was very sticky, and the inside of drawers had food particles in them.
Upon seeing how dirty everything was we decided we should wash the sheets immediately and check for bed bugs(there were wet towels that had been left in the washer) One bed downstairs had stains on the matress protector so we decided to take it off to was it too..which revealed that the matress had a large reddish stain on it! The other bed downstairs was broken and made loud noises every time someone would roll over during the night.
The hottub was unusable due to the strong smell of algae and floating whitish matter in it?? It smelled putrid!
I should also add to be aware of bears. While taking out the trash one of my adult kids came face to face with one in the dumpster!
The game room offered fun indoor activities on the rainy days and the cabin is located in the beautiful foothills and conveniently between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for outdoor activities when the weather cooperated for us. The cabin host made the check-in process easy and responded quickly to any questions.
I had a total of 4 adults and 9 teenagers staying here. The house was what they described and very nice. We wish it had a 3rd full bathroom but we made it work. We had a small problem but the property manager fixed it and it is not worth mentioning. For the money you can’t find anything better. We had a great time here and the kids did not want to leave!
