We had an amazing time! Property was clean and well stocked - with enough TP, dish soap, paper towels, for our entire stay. The "basement" was a great space for the kids and the view was great. Location was also amazing, close to PF and Townsend as well. Hosts were very attentive and welcoming!
The cabin was beautiful. There were 8 of us and had plenty of room. The views were beautiful. Easy to get to but driveway is very steep. Close to Pigeon Forge. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved it.

Everything was amazing. The location was perfect and felt secluded, but so close to everything. The downstairs was perfect for our kids so they would all be together. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The deck outside had major damages and was in disrepair. The shades in the main floor bed were broken. Tried to grill outside but the grill was filthy-Had not been cleaned. Bring your own soaps, shampoos because the room has small inexpensive samples. Found three spiders in the same bathroom in one day. The couch in the living room had a huge stain. No streaming services for TVs so we couldn’t watch anything. The basement bedroom/din had no ceiling so duct work exposed, very cold and the 1/2 bath in basement wasn’t big enough for a VERY small child. Also found the top sheets not on the bed but laying folded under the blanket. We left an item behind and when we asked we’re told the cleaning crew found it but don’t know what they did with it. Disappointed

overpriced based on the condition and layout of the property
Driveway should be advertised as very steep, very difficult parking 3 cars
Great location and property, but please take note...
We spent a week at this property and for the most part, it was a fantastic choice for my crew: 3 guys and 3 girls looking for a fun retreat in the mountains. Below is our groups' pros/cons list for the property.
The pros:
-Great location just minutes away from The Island and several other popular attractions. We felt we could easily come and go to the house when we needed to and rarely stayed out all day long.
-Quick, easy access to grocery/convenience/fast food establishments in the Wears Valley Rd area.
-Plenty of space for the 6 of us--though it would've been tight if our whole 10 person group had come.
-Well-outfitted kitchen space that we utilized often for breakfast/dinner.
-Roku TVs-we streamed movies in our downtime between activities in the main room and the girls all used their TVs in the loft area/main suite.
-Gorgeous views from the main living area/deck area. I was never disappointed first thing in the morning.
-Thoughtful touches like the snacks/coffee provided on the coffee bar.
-Well maintained property overall.
The cons:
-The driveway is tricky, as most are in the area. We had a truck and two small SUVs on property and it always took some difficult maneuvering to get out of the inclined "garage" spot.
-The beds in the first floor space (doubles and bunks) were very hard, according to my guys. I'm sure these beds would be fine for kids, but I had 30+ year old men sleeping in these beds and they definitely had some trouble.
-The space that has the cubby-style beds *is* a loft. The photos don't demonstrate this very well--though it is mentioned in the description. The girls that slept in the loft were disappointed by the lack of privacy. (Upside: curtains have been installed in the cubbies for blocking the sun. These are not pictured in the property listing.)
-The sun rises in full view of the floor to ceiling windows, which is beautiful, but blinding by mid-morning.
-The main suite bathroom shower stall is not roomy at all. There was very little give in the showerhead adjustment either.
-Very little soundproofing. We could hear pretty much any movement from anywhere in the house, including the very noisy loft stairs. Not good for light sleepers.
Our pros/cons are more FYI for other consumers. Most "cons" are things that cannot be remedied easily and we understand most are restrictions on the property itself. This is a great space for families with kids!

Todo muy bueno solo la habitación del primer piso no llegaba la calefacción y se mantenía fría
My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin and absolutely loved it! Has all the amenities you need with a beautiful view of the mountains! Short drives to Gaitlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Communication with the hosts was excellent! Highly recommended!
The cabin was just as advertised, surrounded by woods with beautiful scenery easy access to the main road and attractions. This cabin was excellent for a family setting. I would most definitely recommend renting this cabin.
We loved this property! We were 3 families, 6 adults and 5 kids. Each family slept on 1 level. The stairs are a bit loud, but everything else was perfect! We even got to see a goat in the morning munching on it's breakfast. The driveway is quite steep, but we were still easily able to park 3 cars. The house is about a 10 minute drive to the main street of pigeon forge where all the fun and eats are and it is about a 20 minute drive with no traffic to the Sugar Land Visitors Center of the Smoky Mountains. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again!
Nice place with easy access to Pigeon Forge activities
Great place close, but not too close to Pigeon Forge. Lots of room for the whole family and some. The kids loved having their own space to relax and play there games.
Very clean! Excellent communication with the owners Michael and Debra. Very well equipped, plenty of towels but we still did a little laundry since there was 6 of us.
Location was really convenient yet tucked away and Easy to find
Definitely a thumbs up!
I love the house as the kitchen had all the cooking utensils. Enough beds for everyone and talking to the ponies and goat next door was an added pleasure. Great location
The cabin is beautiful, with great scenery, easy access to the main strip while still feeling secluded. The owners were very friendly and communicated very well and in a timely manner.
Worth the stay.
This cabin was perfect for our group of ten adults and a baby. Our daughter and her baby had plenty of room in the loft area, while our son and his friends had the whole bottom floor to themselves. The kitchen, dining area and living room was very roomy when we were all hanging out together. We had a couple small issues but the owner responded very quickly and took care of them immediately. The location was great was well. Close to everything but felt secluded. Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Perfect location for daily trips into the National Park. Very comfortable space for our family. The kids used the basement as their hangout. My wife and I used the loft, the grandparents used the one true bedroom. The view through the large windows and out on the deck was awesome. We used the rocking chairs out on the deck every afternoon after our hikes with a cold beverage and good books. Great week for us.
My husband and I enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin. Close to Pigeon Forge yet far enough away from the crowds. We only used the main floor, but the upstairs and downstairs were very nice and had plenty of sleeping space for a larger family.

Response from VrboOwner on 23 October 2025
We’re saddened by this poor rating. We were glad to offer a very early check-in (almost 4 hours early). When we were notified about a sink/disposal concern, we replied within minutes and immediately dispatched our local handyman. Later that afternoon we were asked not to enter because someone in the group wasn’t feeling well and were told the kitchen sink had been resolved by the guests; we respected that request and stayed on standby. After checkout, we had the disposal and both sinks in question professionally serviced.
For future guests: Things happen! If anything isn’t perfect on arrival, please reach out and allow our team access so we can fix it right away. We take maintenance concerns seriously and have same-day local support available. Our goal is a smooth, 5-star stay for every guest.
