This recently remodeled Chamberlands home is an excellent modern mountain home with everything you need for your perfect Tahoe getaway! Enjoy full access to Chamberlands private swimming pool, beach and tennis courts. This spacious home has new furnishings, kitchen, bathrooms, hardwood floors, carpeting, lighting, paint inside and out, as well as a new deck and walkway.

Enter the main living level into an inviting open plan great room that is an ideal gathering space for your group. The colors of the forest outside are echoed by the home's soothing color palette of warm grays and taupes. The great room features hardwood flooring, a comfy sectional to enjoy the gas fireplace and watch the game on a sizable flat screen TV. The Restoration Hardware dining table is crowned by a lovely Williams Sonoma chandelier and seats up to 8 with 4 more seats at the breakfast bar. The cooks in your group will enjoy preparing big meals in the kitchen featuring quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and especially the gas stove. The kitchen island simplifies prep and serving all of your feasts, and affords easy interaction between those in the kitchen and the rest of the great room space. Just off the great room is a spacious deck space to enjoy the fresh air and mountain sunsets. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on this main level: one bedroom with a king bed and the second with a queen bed. Upstairs there is a big loft that will be a kids delight with air hockey table, TV and sofa. Also, upstairs there is a huge bunk room that sleeps up to 6, with three bunk sets: two bunks have twins and one has a twin bed on top and a double below. Patio furniture includes: 2 Adirondack chairs, 2 recliners, table and 6 chairs, gas BBQ and extra plastic chairs in garage.

This home comes with a new washer and dryer, wifi, cable TV, an EV Charger (14-50 plug, 240V, 50AMP), and a pool table in the garage. You will thoroughly enjoy full access to the private Chamberlands pool, beach and tennis courts. Free shuttle service to the beach/pool or it's about a 10 minute walk. This home rents Sunday to Sunday only in peak summer months.

Pets are prohibited at this home.

Please be advised the decks and BBQ grill are NOT available during the winter months.

The maximum occupancy of this home includes a limit of 8 adults ages 16 and older, per Placer County regulations.
This Chamberlands home rents with a Sunday to Sunday arrival-departure only from the last week of June to last week of August. Only Sunday to Sunday stays will be confirmed during this time frame.

PLEASE NOTE: This home is equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras (one to monitor the driveway, one at the main entrance) and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in.

Life guards will be on duty daily beginning Saturday June 19 through Monday September 6 from 10am to 6pm.
Shuttle Bus will run daily except Tuesdays July 2 thru Sunday August 15 and Sept 4 5 from 11am to 5pm.
Membership card required for access to private beach - No Exceptions.
The use of the public beach does not require a membership card.

Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st

A decent Chamberlands home central to local attractions
We are semi-regular summer visitors to the Homewood area and love the vibe on this side of the lake. Highly recommend the Chamberlands neighborhood as a perfect ground zero for a Tahoe vacation, especially for those with teens/children. It’s great to be able to load up your gear for the day, travel five minutes, and enjoy the private beach, pool, lifeguard service, swim platform, lake views, dock, Chambers Landing bar, food service/dining, and round trip shuttle service from the street in front of this house. Nearby SUP and kayak rentals. Also, beautiful nearby bike paths, other fine beaches, and close to Truckee river rafting. This vacation home is modestly upgraded. We appreciated the large deck with neighborhood views, comfortable living room and dining areas, and decently stocked kitchen including lots of spices and a variety of cookware. Major downside: the open floor plan that is so common in these homes with a loft upstairs. The upstairs kid area had no cross ventilation and amplified the noise from the TV, air hockey table, and discussions that drowned out conversations on the main floor. Further, this house is surrounded by electric shock wire and a door mat to dissuade bear break-ins. It was advised to shut all windows and doors at night and arm the electric fence. This was impossible due to the excessive heat during our first few days and the lack of air conditioning. We had three fans running upstairs yet our teens could not sleep well. Overall, a decent house in a good neighborhood nearby to great Tahoe attractions.

Chamberlands was absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend with my family. The rental and all it’s amenities were as advertised. The only inconvenience was the process to pickup and drop off keys, but that did not diminish our stay. Highly recommended!

The only complaint I have is the pick up and drop off of the key 15-20min away, would be nice not to stress about that and to have a lock box onsite. Otherwise is was great!
