We’ve stayed at this vacation home 3 or 4 times since our first time in 2014 (our grandchildren were babies) and therefore we are very familiar with the home, area and host…always wonderful. The home is very clean and spacious and the kitchen has every pan, dish, knife and utencil imaginable, cooking is great. The market is walking distance as is the HOA dock and beach. River Ranch and rafting on the Truckee River are great as are Meeks Bay and Ehrman Mansion resort beaches. One more plus is the garage parking and storing of all our beach toys. This is our second time with 3 generations and hope we have the opportunity again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home again with us.
Great location. Nicely laid out home with all the comforts and amenities our family needed. Very clean. The balconies from all the rooms were really nice for morning coffee! We were thrown off a bit by the bear deterrent speakers that played sounds of barking dogs when we entered the house - would have been a nice thing to know to expect it. Appreciated access to garage to park one of the cars there. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need to make all our meals at the house and the backyard was set up so nice to enjoy grilling.
Our stay was perfect! The home was very cozy and clean. We were a group of six adults and it fit our needs fine. Centrally located to both north/south Tahoe. We would definitely book again!
Everything was fantastic. The place was set up great, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was clean. My only feedback would be to add instructions about the bear mat in your check in instructions.
Lovely home in the woods that has everything you need . We even saw a bear and a deer in backyard during our stay and were greeted by local contact Nina upon arrival . This is our 4 th stay here!
Very clean. Nice Neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen. Very roomy - both upstairs and downstairs have a "living" area. Walking distance to the beach. Would stay here again!
1st time to Lake Tahoe and this was an excellent find for our family. The house was clean, spacious. The kitchen had everything you could need. We had a relaxing, wonderful experience. Hope to come back.
We could see why this place was rated as excellent. It is in a good location, close to places to eat and purchase groceries as well as the lake. The place was one of the cleanest short term rentals that I have ever seen. It had a super well stocked kitchen, and there were plenty of linens to use. It had everything that we needed and more. It is exactly as described in the listing. We had one question for the host which was answered almost immediately. The only downside for us in our age and health is the amount of stairs. If this were a one story we'd be back in a heartbeat. We have no problem recommending this "comfortable family home" to folks wanting to vacation on the west side of Lake Tahoe.
This was our third visit to the home and again it did not disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, scenery, access to the various state parks, and the bears! We will be back next year.
This is the second time staying in this beautiful home with our family. My review from our first stay last year says it all in detail, but in a nutshell we love this house and the fact it is so comfortable, roomy, clean and cozy in a beautiful, quiet setting amongst the trees. If you're a cook, the kitchen has EVERYTHING you need! We love everything about this house!

THIS HOME IS BEAUTIFUL!! We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave. It felt like home, so comfortable and completely met our needs. The kitchen is a dream come true and the owners literally thought of everything. We will go again, great for summer or winter. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. You are always welcome.
The house was stocked with all the conveniences you could need and was located on a quiet street with immediate access to the famed pines of the area in the backyard while just minutes away and the lake, about a 10-15 minute walk. Cozy, peaceful, lovely all around. We hope to come back!
