Our recently refurbished 4 Star cosy cottage situated in the heart of Newtonmore sleeps up to 4 people in 3 spacious bedrooms. Complete with a walk in shower, well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room/dining area, and outside seating - this is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring everything the Cairngorm National Park has to offer.
We encourage you to visit Cathwill Self Catering Cottage and explore our enchanting village, Newtonmore! Nestled in the west of the Cairngorm National Park, you will be surrounded by breath-taking scenery for the duration of your stay. The property is perfect for those looking to escape to the countryside, to experience rural life! Visit our home away from home and enjoy the first class facilities offered in the local area. On the doorstep you will find the award winning Highland Folk Museum where you can step back in time and experience life in the Highlands from 1700s to the 1950s, Newtonmore is also home to Cairngorm Alpaca Trekking who have recently featured in the BBC Series 'This Farming Life' (They have Pygmy Goats and Minature Donkeys too!). There are endless opportunities for outdoor fun all within 10 miles, these include the RZSS Highland Wildlife Park, Laggan Wolftrax, Loch Insh Watersports, Highland Pony Trekking and plenty of hill walking. The cottage contains a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, a cosy living room/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and shared bathroom with a large walk in shower. The living room and front bedroom have fantastic views of Creag Dubh. The garden hosts a private picnic area, with a driveway large enough to accommodate 2 cars.
