Old Ty'n Y Wern near Rhosygwalia, Gwynedd sleeps two guests in one bedroom.

Old Ty'n Y Wern offers a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and woodburning stove, plus a living/dining room with a second woodburning stove, Freeview TV and dining seating for six. The double bedroom is served by a ground-floor shower room. A separate Shepherd's Hut provides additional sleeping for two guests (£50 supplement, to be added at booking) and includes a tumble dryer; there are no kitchen facilities in the hut. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, with complimentary logs provided during colder months. Outside is an enclosed lawned garden. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, but smoking is not permitted. Shops are 1.8 miles away, a pub is 1.6 miles away and a river and lake are within 0.8 miles. Bedding is feather and down; please advise of any allergies when booking. No parking on the grass. Due to the rural setting, wildlife may occasionally be encountered in and around the property.

Due to the property's rural location, guests may occasionally encounter wildlife in and around the garden and, on rare occasions, within the property itself; The garden is a haven for a variety of native wildlife, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature in its natural setting during your stay.

Town: The bustling market town of Bala lies within the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniad, a relic of the Ice Age. Renowned as a centre for great watersports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and whitewater rafting, Bala is also the headquarters of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway. The town itself is steeped in history and has a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, and an historical Town Walk. Surrounded by the wonderful Berwyn Mountains on one side and the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountain Range on the other, this is a mecca for climbing, walking, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities. An ideal location for touring all of North and Mid Wales including the stunning Cambrian Bay Coast with the six-mile long Harlech Beach, overlooked by its majestic medieval castle. A truly wonderful part of Wales catering for all interests.
