About the host
Hosted by Henry Collett
Henry & Penny met in the Dolomites working with Colletts Mountain Holidays a genuine walking holiday specialist in its 24th year of providing guests with the perfect alpine escape. Henry & Penny's passion for walking brought them to the Yorkshire Dales. Penny is a qualified guide, and if available, will be happy to take your group on a guided walk. (Charge applies). We are also happy to arrange. There are many historic buildings to visit such as, Jervaulx Abbey, Middleham Castle, Bolton Castle and only 20 minutes drive away are the spectacular Asygarth Falls. 40 minutes away is Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory. There is so much to do and see in all weather conditions to ensure your family has a truly memorable holiday.
Most importantly, every guest can expect a genuine & enthusiastic welcome from us, Henry and Penny or one of our colleagues. Our aim is for you to feel you are staying somewhere special, somewhere we would want to stay ourselves so we encourage you to kick off your shoes and make this “home from home” while you are with us, relax and enjoy.
