Rehoboth Lodge is a delightful, well-configured semi-detached holiday home, located in the
charming Scottish city of Dundee. The property is spread over three floors in a stunningly
presented layout, ensuring plenty of practical, functional and stylish accommodation that
offers the lovely atmosphere of a home away from home for all guests. The sitting room is
ideal for relaxing in front of the Smart TV after a day of adventures or for catching up on your
favourite TV shows or binge-watching those series that you have specifically earmarked for
your holidays. The fully equipped kitchen/diner means the chef of your group can whip up
delicious meals to be enjoyed around the dining table, and the nearby local shop and pub
make it easy to stock up on supplies or enjoy a meal out without straying too far. For a good
night's rest, choose from one of the four bedrooms, including two double-size (one with
en-suite) and a single on the second floor, and a ground-floor twin (which can be made into
super king size on request). The ground floor shower and toilet cater for the needs of guests
staying in the ground floor twin. Guests can also take advantage of the second-floor
bathroom with a hot soak to freshen up in the morning or to unwind in the evening. Outside,
the enclosed rear lawn offers a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the fresh Scottish air.
For a truly memorable Scottish getaway with your partner, family or friends, step outside to
explore the surrounding area and discover some of Dundee's top attractions and why it is
aptly nicknamed the ‘City of Discovery’. The Camperdown Country Park is virtually a stone
throw away from Rehoboth Lodge and is ideal for dog walking and cycling or just for a
relaxing stroll to be one with nature. Within the park itself, the Camperdown Wildlife Centre is
great for kids. Alternatively, you can use Rehoboth Lodge as a base from which to explore
Dundee’s numerous parks and scenes, including Dundee Law, a hill in the centre of Dundee
with stunning views over the city, the Tay Estuary and the iconic Tay Rail and Road Bridges.
Other parks/places of interest include the Mills Observatory, Britain’s first purpose-built public
observatory, surrounded by Lochee, Balgay and Victoria Parks, all within a short distance
from Rehoboth Lodge. You can also visit the Clatto Country Park/Reservoir, Baxter Park and
Dundee University’s Botanic Gardens.
The V&A and Discovery Point Dundee can offer an exciting day out with the family, or you
can enjoy a round of golf at either the Caird Park Golf Club or the Downfield Golf Club for a
leisurely afternoon on the green. For a peaceful stroll in nature, head to the Riverside Nature
Park and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. To the east of the city, Broughty Ferry offers
additional attractions like the Brought Ferry Castle Museum and Broughty Ferry Beach.
Monifieth and Arbroath further east also offer additional attractions. In addition, you can take
a short drive to Newport-on-Tay where you can pay your respects at the Newport-on-Tay
War Memorial, admire the historic Tayport East Lighthouse, or walk across the Tay Road
Bridge for stunning views of the river. For a day trip to St Andrews (and by extension the
neighbouring Fife Kingdom), explore the underwater world at St Andrews Aquarium, wander
through the vibrant blooms at St Andrews Botanic Garden, or delve into the town's rich
history at St Andrews Museum, or simply enjoy the views of St Andrews Beach. If you are a
golf lover/player, Rehoboth Lodge gives you the opportunity to visit the St Andrews Golf
Club, the home of golf, and be close to or part of the action during major tournaments, or to
undertake a golf pilgrimage at other times.
Rehoboth Lodge’s location close to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital means it is ideal for
outpatients or guests looking for a place to stay to be close to a relative/friend receiving
treatment or care at Ninewells. Rehoboth Lodge is also ideal for consultants working at
Ninewells or NHS Tayside and professionals needing short-term accommodation while
visiting or working with Dundee’s universities and the nearby St Andrew’s University, of
families and friends visiting students studying at these universities or celebrating their
graduation. Rehoboth Lodge is also ideal as a place to stay while attending musical events
or when you are in town to watch matches involving either (or both!) of Dundee’s football
teams. No matter your interests or reasons for visiting Dundee, there is always something for
everyone to enjoy, with the Rehoboth Lodge providing the ideal home from home to help you
make the most of your stay.
