About this property

Beautiful beach house, with lots of porches for outdoor living and open living so the whole gang can be together with pently of room.

Surf City is a thriving beach community located at the heart of historic Topsail Island. The beaches are gorgeous and always a wonderful way to spend the day. 'NANA'S DREAM' BEACH HOUSE is located just a short walk to the beach access. Topsail Beach and North Topsail Beach are located on the island within easy access. For those with a flare for the bigger city, both Jacksonville and Wilmington are within a half hours drive.

The master bedroom and the living room have color cable TVs with DVD players. There is also a TV in each of the other bedrooms. There are jigsaw puzzles to work and games to play.

$25 charge for each piece of furniture not in original place. All keys MUST be left on the kitchen table and the house is left locked.

Fabulous place to stay!

Fantastic first ever beach trip with my family! Highly recommend Nana’s! The owner was extremely helpful and upfront with all the rules and policies. Beautiful home! Such a relaxing vacation! The decorations in the home were a very nice touch to the home. It was an amazing vacation and definitely will be going back again! Thank you again for the opportunity!

Great property!

The property was exactly what we expected and very accurately represented in the listing. Lynne was very communicative to let us know about some important info with an ongoing repair prior to our arrival. Excellent communication as needed during our stay. We loved the location. The front and back decks were perfect with stunning views at all hours of the day. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Mini reunion

2 yrs since seeing the grands and 14yrs missing our Topsail vacations. Nana's Dream was the perfect home away from home to meet up and enjoy the beach. Clean, well-equipped, easy access & communication, short walk to uncrowded beach just north of Surf City. Short drive to Wilmington, Kure Beach and Southport for more sightseeing. Would definitely stay again! Thanks Lynne!

Great stay

Cute place that’s close to the beach and everything else. Grocery stores are about 10 minutes away. The house was clean and well maintained. You do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach by walking and since the house sits on the busy road you do hear the traffic noise and loud cars at night as well but other than that it’s a great stay.

Hello, I am 'Nana's' daughter. I live in Graham, NC which is about 3 hours from the beach. My husband and I are continuing 'Nana's Dream'. We have one daughter who is married and one son. We also have a wonderful grandson and beautiful granddaughter. We love spending time at the beach with the family. Nana has now passed and we do miss her being with us. Her favorite thing to do while at the house was to read while sitting on the top porch and catching the breezes and watching the ocean.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Surf City more than 40 years ago, when there wasn't very much on the island. My mother always dreamed of owning a house here. She sold her family home to buy this beach house and when looking we knew right off that it was the one for her. Her family home was the Jones family home and this beach house sits at the end of Jones St.

What makes this property unique

Along with my family and friends, I love to spend lazy days on the beach or reading a good book on one of the porchs. I hope that you will love to spend some lazy days enjoying my second home as much as I do.
