The Old Chapel, a wonderful converted chapel, consists of a kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, and electric hob, a utility with fridge/freezer and washing machine, a dining room with dining seating, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite, twin with en-suite, and single with en-suite. There is a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with furniture and roadside parking. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Stay at The Old Chapel for your next picture-perfect holiday.

Town: The historic village of Norham is most famous for its splendid Norman Castle ruins overlooking the River Tweed, painted by Turner in 1845. The village has an excellent butcher and bakery, a Post Office, grocer, newsagent and two pubs. Also nearby in the village of Allanton is a great restaurant, suitable for fishing and shooting parties as well as the Cross Inn at Paxton. Berwick-upon-Tweed is just 7 miles away, at the northern tip of Northumberland’s beautiful Heritage Coast, boasting many restaurants, cafes, pubs and a nearby links golf course. The Scottish capital of Edinburgh or the city of Newcastle are easily accessed by train from Berwick. A superb base for exploring all North Northumberland has to offer.
