This quirky little cottage is tucked away in the thriving historical Market town of Abergavenny. It is a perfect base for a romantic break or for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore Abergavenny and its beautiful surrounding area. The cottage is recently and lovingly renovated to a high standard to ensure your stay is both cosy and comfortable. The property benefits from private access, has off road parking on a gated driveway and is centrally located to everything Abergavenny has to of This recently refurbished Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Abergavenny. We are centrally located, but tucked away from the main town, making our property an easy stroll to all the local amenities, independent shops, Restaurants, Gastro pubs, Ancient inns and Coffee shops within the town and surrounding area. Abergavenny has a Theatre, Market hall, Castle, Art galleries, Cinema and many interesting places to visit. The Cottage is contemporary and spacious inside and can sleep up to four guests. We have two generous bedrooms, each with a kingsize zip link bed that can be split into two small singles. A large modern luxury shower room. We provide professionally laundered linens for each guest. A fully equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar style dining area should you ever wish to dine at home. Despite our close proximity to so many lovely local Restaurants in town. A comfortable airy living room to relax and enjoy watching our smart TV or use of the designated workspace area should you require it. The property benefits from private gated driveway access giving you off road parking. It has a small front courtyard that can be used for alfresco drinks on summer evenings. Our pet friendly property is also an ideal base for walkers and cyclists and is close to many renowned walking routes and cycle paths. Where you can experience stunning Welsh scenic views. The cottage has been lovingly restored to a very high standard to ensure your stay in Abergavenny is both cosy and comfortable. Access is from the front door of the property using the lockbox for the key. You will be given the lockbox code on the day of your arrival. Once you open the door you will have full access to our very comfortable home for the duration of your stay. The property has a private gated front driveway for two small to medium vehicles any other vehicles or larger vehicles can be parked on the street outside if spaces available. The gateway opening is. We suggest vehicles are reversed into driveway space for ease exit out of driveway. We are always happy to help guests, so feel free to contact us by txt or phone if any issues arise or if we could be of any help during your stay. We have years of local knowledge and information to assist with you planning your stay. We have a Welcome book at the property with specific information regarding the property itself and lots of leaflets on local activities , site seeing and attractions in our wonderful surrounding area. The Welcome book and leaflets can be reviewed at your leisure when at the property. We aim for your stay to be as relaxed and stress free as possible so unless you require us we will only send you messages via this platform to ensure your privacy. We have left our private numbers at the property on Welcome cards and in the Welcome book, should you require anything further. Abergavenny is a thriving market town in Monmouthshire promoted as the Gateway to Wales. Looking for a Hike? fancy a general relaxing stroll? or maybe play a round of Golf, there are so many local activities for all ages and abilities within short distance from our base. We are surrounded by Mountains and hills The Blorenge, The Sugarloaf, the Skirrid, The Deri and Rholben. We also have access to the nearby Black Mountain ridge and the wider Beacon Beacons National park so if you can enjoy hiking and experience some breath taking Mountain views above and beyond Abergavenny. You could also cycle or stroll the 36 miles of the Brecon to Monmouth canal away from the hustle and bustle. Walking and cycling in the area is easy with so many local paths all with outstanding scenery. Our holiday home is Pet friendly and Abergavenny has many dog walking routes.. take a stroll across Bullpit meadow or walk your four legged friend through the town where you will find lots and lots of pet friendly coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Your dog will Love it here. We will leave your pet a treat or two at the property for when you get back. Abergavenny has direct train links to Cardiff and Manchester making it an ideal staycation location. Some other Local attractions for those that like to keep busy…. Sailing and Windsurfing On Llangorse lake near Brecon, Symonds Yat or at LLandegfordd reservoir all less than 30 minutes drive away. Walking and hiking The above mentioned Mountains, Tintern Abbey, Llanthony Priory, St Marys Church, Blaenavon World Heritage site, Capel-y-ffin, Offa's Dyke and Cwmyoy Boating Along the tree lined 200 year old Monmouth - Brecon Canal. Hire a barge at Brecon Park boats in llangattock. Canoeing and Kayaking on the River wye which forms the boarder between Wales and England. Hire all kit from Monmouth canoe. Climbing Llangorse Multi-activity centre has extensive indoor and outdoor climbing. Cycling Black mountain cycle centre. Monmouth Brecon Canal towpath. Clydach Gorge cycle route.
