About the host
Hosted by Louisa Cameron
Welcome! I host Wren Cottage a coastal and country retreat and love making guests feel at home.
Years ago I fell in love with the area, I have explored all over. I can pass on lot's of personal recommendations from beautiful walks through to galleries, retro shops, tranquil beaches, RHS gardens, vineyards or great restaurants (and more!). The cottage is perfectly located for trendy Hastings & St Leonards or historical Rye.

Why they chose this property
Wren Cottage is set in a peaceful, sun-filled spot, with a garden that’s perfect for families to enjoy together. From morning coffee in the sunshine to relaxed evenings with a glass of wine while children play, it’s an easy place to unwind. The area is ideal for family adventures, with woodland and coastal walks, nearby beaches, and plenty of sun-filled spots close by. What we enjoy most is how simple it is to spend the day outdoors exploring, then return to the comfort and calm of the cottage for a relaxed evening together.
What makes this property unique
The Cottage is unique for its blend of traditional Sussex character and contemporary Scandinavian design. The bright, single-storey layout makes it ideal for families and small groups, while the cosy wood-burning stove adds a warm, relaxed feel year-round.
It’s location is also special — perfectly placed for both coastal and countryside escapes, with the 1066 Country Walk on the doorstep and the historic town of Rye and the seaside towns of Hastings and St Leonards just minutes away.
