Recently converted cottage sleeping 6 with large indoor heated swimming pool kept around 30 degrees and indoor/outdoor large terrace overlooking the spectacular Rother Valley. Three bedrooms, one large bouble and two large twins, including one downstairs. Separate lounge, dining area and kitchen plus utility. Lawn plus walled garden and access to a field. It has WiFi and is 200m from the peaceful village of Burwash Weald with its local pub, 10 miles from the Sussex coast and 3 miles from Batemans.

Can't wait to stay again

We booked this place for a hen weekend and it was incredible. the view from the terrace is outstanding and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd want to cook! We will certainly stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Holidays in England

It is a wonderful and great cottage. Perfect for the whole family for relaxing and discovering the countryside and coast. I had never been in such a warm pool before.

A lovely place to get away

We hired the venue for the weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. The pool area was a great focal point and wet-weather option and the view across the High Weald is stunning. The area has walks and pub lunches all on hand. Helen couldn't have been more helpful and was always available to help with any questions. We were always in safe hands. Thank you Helen, I'm sure we'll be back!

Very comfortable cottage

Very nice Cottage, the star being the huge indoor pool - which the kids absolutely loved. Nice pub 5 mins walk away. Front garden was great for letting the dogs out as it’s completely enclosed, and a lovely space at the back to walk them on lead.

Enjoyed our stay, property was cosy for our family of 6, just big enough, best part was the swimming pool, whole process was easy with VRBO, only downside is you have to pay in full and no deposit or pay in instalment, if this option was available it would be good, overall very secluded, alot of privacy and quite area, thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, thank you Helen for making the whole process easy

Great place will return

Accommodation was fantastic, very homely and pool was a lovely addition. Although the pool could do with a clean but met the house keeper when leaving and they understood the problem and are now working on the problem. Don’t get me wrong was a lovely and was used twice a day on our stay. Overall great place and would stay again.

Amazing stay!

The photos don't do it justice - my friends and I had the best weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life, the pool is just fantastic. Gorgeous views from the balcony. So cosy and warm and everything you could ever need in the kitchen. Can't wait to rebook! Thank you so much.

Family short stay

Family of 4 and 1 dog, stayed at this lovely place, great views from the property. The indoor pool was at 85f all the time and is quite large with lots of floatables to play with, can not walk the dog down the whole of the garden but has a large area in front & to the side to walk the dog. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place!

We just had a fantastic 4 night stay at this property, the house was clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable. As others have said, the pool area is fantastic and leads out onto a spacious balcony with stunning views. Our pooch loved siting watching the foxes, deer and rabbits every morning! Helen was super helpful and we had a nice chat with her as we were leaving. Can’t say enough good things about Bough farm cottage and we are already looking at dates for next year. Thanks for letting us stay :)

Pool Lovely but some facilities poor. Very uncomfortable upstairs single mattresses and lounge chair. Towels and bathmat threadbare. No cereal bowls and chipped and mismatched crockery.

Return Visit

Last stayed here 3 years ago and whilst we enjoyed stay there are very clear signs the property is in need of updating and a deep clean. The pool itself was clean and warm but some tiles are missing on the steps into it making anyone entering cautious. Some of the bedding was torn and one stained. Mattresses could do with renewing along with the towels which smelt musty. Overall just a lick of paint and clean would help.
