Recently converted cottage sleeping 6 with large indoor heated swimming pool kept around 30 degrees and indoor/outdoor large terrace overlooking the spectacular Rother Valley. Three bedrooms, one large bouble and two large twins, including one downstairs. Separate lounge, dining area and kitchen plus utility. Lawn plus walled garden and access to a field. It has WiFi and is 200m from the peaceful village of Burwash Weald with its local pub, 10 miles from the Sussex coast and 3 miles from Batemans.

Third visit

Our third visit to this holiday cottage. A great house in a great location. We did have a problem with the hot water but the housekeeper responded immediately and told us how to restart the boiler over the phone, and it was all resolved within about 10 minutes. Thanks for another great break away.

Stay in the Sussex countryside

Beautiful place to retreat to from the City to enjoy the countryside. Views from the terrace across the gardens and rolling Sussex hillsides is spectacular during autumn. Heated indoor pool an added bonus. Will look forward to our next stay.

Lovely stay

Booked for the pool and a family catch up. The pool is fantastic but the house is also warm and relaxing. Everything you need for a week stay. The host was easy to contact and efficiently dealt with a query on arrival. We are already looking to book again.

A lovely place to get away

We hired the venue for the weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. The pool area was a great focal point and wet-weather option and the view across the High Weald is stunning. The area has walks and pub lunches all on hand. Helen couldn't have been more helpful and was always available to help with any questions. We were always in safe hands. Thank you Helen, I'm sure we'll be back!

We loved staying here, like home from home except for the amazing pool just behind the lounge door. Great for kids and adults alike. Helen was very helpful and checked on us which was lovely. Would definitely stay again

Lovely cottage with amazing pool

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage and enjoyed some pleasant days out in the vicinity (Hastings, Eastbourne, Bodian Castle, Bewl Water). The children and grown ups all enjoyed the wonderfully warm pool and fantastic views (and sunsets).

We booked this place for a hen weekend and it was incredible. the view from the terrace is outstanding and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd want to cook! We will certainly stay here again in the future.
