The Parlour was ideally suited for our visit to family in Robertsbridge. We were given a warm welcome by Louise. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen in excellent condition, sadly not always the case in some self catering properties we have stayed in.The location is excellent for visiting many National Trust properties, beautiful country side for walking and interesting towns such as Hastings and Rye.
Well thought out property with stunning views of the countryside. 2 good size en suite bedrooms with underfloor heating throughout. Small garden is great for dogs. Great location for exploring!
This is a very comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean, well equipped with a pretty and private outdoor area with quality furniture. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.
We found the cottage looking to stay in the vague area. It was superbly located for Battle and lots of other brilliant half term activities such as Bewl Water, Bedgebury or Herstmonceux science museum.
The cottage was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. It was all very comfortable and we’d certainly visit again if we found ourselves in the area.
We had a great stay. Great location for Robertsbridge and countryside walks. Very high specification interior. Well kitted out kitchen. Comfy living area.
The Parlour is modern, comfortable, well-equipped and clean. The en-suite wet rooms are great. Nice to have a small, private, enclosed garden attached to the property.Pleasant and helpful host, Louise, who lives on-site.There are lovely walks around Robertsbridge and we also enjoyed visiting Bodiam, Camber Sands, Rye and Battle.
Louise was so kind and accommodating as we arrived early and the property was ready, as well as letting us leave our bags in the house so we could enjoy our walk before travelling home. The home itself is so cosy and has lovely view
Perfect stay for a visit to Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill garden
The Parlour is the ideal location for anyone attending a course or visiting Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill garden. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was lovely to meet Louise and her horses.
This property is perfect for 2 couples. It is set in beautiful countryside, is well equipped & spotlessly clean. The wet room was perfect for my limited mobility & we were offered further adaptions if needed. We definitely want to return
I stayed 6 days at the Parlour together with my 3yo son. We enjoyed every bit of it! Lovely cottage, very clean and super comfortable bed! Great views! Perfect location for beautiful walks in nature. My Son lives the horses! Louise and Graham were the best hosts, very friendly and gave us very good tips for things to do in the area! We would love to come back
We've just returned from a weekend stay at The Parlour in Robertsbridge. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt relaxed and chilled. The accommodation is really lovely, light and bright, very comfortable and very well appointed, with a private garden overlooking a field.
The Parlour is well positioned with lots of really lovely places to visit close by. My daughter had a brilliant time at Go Ape at Bedgebury.
We had a very pleasant stay at 'The Parlour' in Robertsbridge for a few days at the end of July 2023 whilst visiting family who lived locally. The accommodation was very nice with lovely views of the countryside. The beds were very comfy and there was ample parking outside. We briefly met Louise (one of the hosts) and she was very welcoming. We would not hesitate to stay here again when we visit family in the near future. Thanks so much again to Louise and Graham.
The Parlour was in a great location for numerous walks and convenient for Robertsbridge. Using the road parallel to the “main” road avoided all the traffic for a safe route into town. Very unusual local pub (Ostrich) which served great food.
The accommodation was perfect for us as we were 2 couples and we wanted to cook and eat mainly there. We spent New Years Eve there and cooked a 3 course meal for 4 quite easily.
Comfy beds and a great layout. We did find it a bit warm, even with the heating off, but I’m sure nobody minds that.
Overall a great break 😊👍
Just wonderful. The cottage was spacious and comfortable - a lovely large walk-in shower, large beds with memory foam mattresses, so really comfortable. Underfloor heating kept the cottage at the right temperature so you didn't feel the cold. Kitchen had an induction cooker which was great to cook on. I couldn't complain about anything. Louise, the owner was very happy to chat away with you and talk about the area, about the farm and her horses. A lovely person. I could move it quite happily as if it was my own home! That says it all really. We will come back as this is a glorious part of the English countryside.
Great location for touring and eating out. Owner super responsive to emails before arrival. Rental clean, and well stocked kitchen and well supplied linens/towels. For a week long stay, frig very small. No freezer.
Did not have super views from the Parlour - looked out at driveway/ hedge and Owners house. Small sitting out garden area, enclosed on all sides - no view. View when you walked around owners garden magnificent.
Would recommend a couple of comfortable loungers for garden and non-slip mats for showers. We are seniors and one of us had a fall.
But a great rental and with glorious weather had an excellent stay and would recommend.
