The host was nice and responded timely. However for the first two days of this 4 day rental we had so many issues at the property - from heating not working, to electricity tripping twice, to poor wifi, to water heating leaking, washing machine leaking and electric stove top wiring not even hooked. It felt’s like with this being a first time VRBO rental the home wasn’t ready for guests and was prematurely rented. We were the guinea pigs discovering issues and notifying them to fix one by one. That is no one’s idea for a vacation rental. I have requested the property management company as well as the host to issue us refund for the first two nights but haven’t heard back from them. They kept telling me to use VRBO platform to log my complaints and formal reimbursement request. I would like VRBO to step in and help remediate the refund request.
