Welcome to Island Life, a fully renovated and updated vacation home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A private backyard tiki bar, a hot tub, and a heated pool await you at this ground-level Anna Maria Island paradise. Access to the Gulf beaches is just a short 5-minute walk from Island Life, perfect for viewing the famous sunsets and relaxing in the turquoise Gulf waters.

Walk up the stone pathway to the front door and be welcomed into a coastal oasis with vibrant blues and greens throughout the living and kitchen area. There is a flat screen tv with a Roku and a comfy seating area for movie nights. Get out the pots and pans, prepare a fantastic meal in the fully equipped kitchen, and gather guests at the beautiful dining table.

Leave worries behind and unwind in the primary bedroom with a King bed, tv, and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests will love the second bedroom with its tropical flair and pool area views. The fourth bedroom is the ultimate sleepover room, with two full over full bunk beds. A stunning hallway bathroom has a bright tiled shower and tub combination. A sleeper sofa in the living room is available for guest use.

There is plenty of seating at the tiki bar and dining table outside, so you can soak up as much sun as possible while you’re here. You can also use the full-size stainless steel grill from the pool and hot tub.

Grab the provided beach towels and chairs and walk a short 5-minute one block to the north or south to the amazing Gulf of Mexico beach, where you can often spot dolphins jumping in the mornings. Rent a bike to explore the island’s many hidden gems and watering holes, or spend a leisurely afternoon shopping on Pine Street.

*Please note - this property uses the beach access points at 77th St or 79th St. The access on 78th Street is currently closed to the public.

We really enjoyed our stay. Expansive back yard with heated pool and spa and lots of entertaining space. Lovely interior newly renovated. Best of all only steps from the beautiful beach.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property. The pool is our favorite part. I wish the beach access was open but wasn’t much to walk to the next block. House has plenty of room for your family. We will continue to use AMI Rentals

Island Life is the life for me!!!

Beautiful property!! Great for our family of 6. Proximity to the beach was super nice. House was decorated very nicely and kept clean. Highly recommend!! We hope to return to Island Life in the future.

Great property

The house is very spacious and updated. The pool has partial sun in the morning and full sun midday and all afternoon. The walk to the beach could not have been easier. It was super clean and tidy upon arrival.

Perfect place for a family with teenagers!

The pool and the very short walk to the beach make for a perfect combination for a family with teenagers! With bike rentals and the trolley our boys were able to roam freely without us. Another hidden gem is close proximity to centerami.org where our boys are able to play pickup basketball a few nights. Our first time to Anna Maria and it is a hidden gem! Not crowded, laid back. A perfect week!

Perfect Beach House

Perfect beach house for spring break! Me, my husband our three daughters and a friend had a wonderful stay. So close to the beach that it was easy to go back and forth for lunch and such. Make sure you head back to the beach for the sunset at night - stunning!! The pool and hot tub were bigger than they appear in the pictures. The bedrooms were also very large. There were beach chairs, an umbrella and other beach toys in the garage. Very well equipped for the perfect beach getaway!

This property was great, one of my favorites! The house was all fully remodeled, the pool area was wonderful, everything was just as described. The very brief walk to the beach was great! It had everything that we needed and more! Also, Eric was awesome! He contacted us prior to the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. On night one I had trouble with the hot tub and he personally came the next day to look at it. He took care of everything and even sent us some suggestions for places to eat in the area. I'm definitely hoping to be back soon!!!

Very pleasant

We really enjoyed this property. The proximity to the beach was the decision maker for us. You can see the beach from the kitchen window. The house was clean and very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. The only negative for us was the communication with the agency. We came early and wanted to get permission to check in early and no one would give us an answer. We kept calling and were told they’d call us back and no one did. We ended up going to the actual office and speaking to some one. Over all, we had a great week. The pool and the spa were fantastic

Nice house BUT not warm enough 2nd week

Great location a couple feet away from beautiful beach. Challenges connecting through wifi since instructions provided indicated wrong password. Also, needed some heat inside last couple days BUT the system limits control. Way Too cold inside even if system shows 72- 75 degrees. We kept our coats and clothes inside and decided to leave one day earlier. Bathrooms and rooms freezing to death!

Island Life House Review

Enjoyable stay on Holmes Beach. We loved that we were only a few steps from the beach. Clean and well appointed. There were problems throughout our stay with the lock box on the front door...unable to access the house at times. Prompt attention was provided, but there continued to be issues with it throughout the stay. Also, there was limited lighting in the back yard at night. The strand of lights hanging in the Tiki bar didn't work until we mentioned it to the management at which time it was fixed while assisting with the lock box. So overall it was a very nice week at this home with the exception of the issues stated above.

Inaccurate listing

According to the description in the listing the house is “newly renovated” which is completely inaccurate. The stone around the pool has heaved to create large holes that are dangerous. I stubbed my toes badly several times. The tiki hut/bar is in shambles and the top is rotten. The loungers are falling apart. The beach trolly is falling apart. There was no cabinet space for food so we had to put it on the counter. There were so many ants. We had to have the placed sprayed for large cockroaches while we were there. There were dead cockroaches in drawers. We swept up many dead geckos after they sprayed. This place may have been nice several years ago but needs major help. Some windows have electrical tape around them and most of the filthy blinds are inoperable. We stayed at a lovely place hosted by AMI locals in March and almost went back but I splurged for this “newly renovated” house on the “beach block” and neither of those things were true. I felt very deceived, especially since we could have spent half the price and stayed at the gorgeous accommodations we were at in the Spring. The pool and hot tub were nice but no amount of cleaning could keep the debris out of the pool and it was never cleaned up the entire time we were there. We stacked and swept it into piles as best as we could but it blew back into the pool every night. We left after 7 days, which was two days early. I paid to change our flights. Disappointing.

Beautiful property steps from the beach

This was our third visit to Anna Maria Island and our first stay at this property, and we really enjoyed this house! It’s a recently renovated, beautifully decorated home that’s just steps from the beach. We loved the location of the house (close to a trolley stop, restaurants, etc.), and it was so convenient having all rooms on one level. The private backyard was our favorite part of the property with a large pool, hot tub, lots of seating, nice grill, tiki bar and beautiful landscaping. We also loved having the shallow area and the umbrella in the pool! The backyard got plenty of sunshine throughout the day but part of it was always shaded if we wanted to escape the sun/heat. It was perfect! We were impressed by the management company’s prompt communication and quick resolution of two small maintenance issues we noticed upon arrival. Overall, we had a really nice stay at this property and would definitely return in the future.

Great place!

This house was awesome! The location was very close to the beach and the backyard was a tropical oasis! The only thing that we encountered was that the ceiling fan didn’t work at the tiki bar. We called in and we’re told that the maintenance guy would come out and fix it, but we never saw him. However, that wasn’t a big deal, just something to have as convenience. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay at AMI

The property was perfect for our family of six. Nicely decorated in soft grays and blues, the house is recently renovated and very comfortable. The gulf waters are visible from the front door, and it is an easily accessible stroll to the beach along a sandy path. Good handicap accessibility with no stairs to navigate. Slight problem with the air conditioning was quickly resolved as well as replacing some light bulbs. Excellent service. Would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for my wife's birthday / Mothers Day weekend. It's a fantastic property with plenty of space for a family of 5. Great layout inside and everything was in very good condition. The entire house is decorated / remodeled very tastefully. The pool was perfect temp and very clean. Tiki bar was a huge plus with ceiling fan, mini fridge, lights, etc. The entire pool area felt very secluded with the tropical foliage. I counted 80 steps from the driveway to the beach access. Very short walk. We had a great time here.

This was our 3rd time to AMI and while we obviously loved it enough to keep coming back, this was our favorite rental so far!! We loved being footsteps away from the beach and having a ground level home that was very accommodating for our family of 6 plus my mom and sister in law. When we come back if this house is available we will try to stay here again! Everything was clearly described and accurately described! We didn’t want to come home!

Perfect Location

We had the best stay. The house has everything you could need for a wonderful vacation. The AMI Rental (Lisa) team was fantastic! It was such an easy check in/out process and made us feel at home right away. The house came with plenty of beach chairs, toys, rafts and anything you would need for beach or pool. I can’t say enough great things about the pool area or the easy access to the beach!!
