The property was in amazing shape and perfect for families. Odd to say, but out only regret on the trip is that we didn't spend more dusk/dawn time out on the porch.

Unique property in a quiet part of town. Kids loved the games. We heard elk calling in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee. Awesome property. Awesome hosts.

I have never seen an elk near the property but we have also heard them calling. We always see a lot of deer and turkeys. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. Come again. Patrick and Susan
The perfect vacation spot. We loved the house and it was the perfect place to stay to see the southern hills. The setting was stunning- grassy hollow in the midst of hills, quiet and peaceful. Highlights- we loved playing pool and the beanbag toss game. The deck off the room was perfect for star gazing. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was clean. Some games didn’t work but that didn’t bother us. We loved staying at Jade Pines and hope to return.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so happy that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. I love to hear about the children playing the games and doing the activities that we have provided. Have a great summer and come back soon. Patrick and Susan
We were all impressed with how very clean everything was. It's definitely family friendly as they had lots of games. The views were beautiful and we saw several deer daily. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace on a couple of cold days. There were numerous thoughtful touches, special amenities, and lots of room to spread out. Having the use of the garage, which was also quite clean, was a nice bonus, as was having laundry capabilities. I will always have lots of fond memories of this beautiful, well-kept cabin.

Thank you for the kind review. You were great guests and we are so happy you enjoyed the cabin. It is always nice to know our guests appreciate the extra efforts that we take. We will pass the cleanliness along to our housekeeper. She is great and good ones are hard to come by. We are very fortunate, we have had the same housekeeper for several years. Hope to see you again, Patrick and Susan
This is a great place to get away. It feels a little like going for a week in the summer at the grandparents. Lots of toys and fun old games. The house is huge! The only downside of the whole place is simply that although there are 4 beds and a pullout couch - there is no privacy. These are sleeping “areas” without doors - not really bedrooms. If that is okay with you, for sure book it! It really is a fun place and as an extra bonus it has a sauna.

Glad that you had a nice time at the cabin. The only thing is I really do not understand why you only rated the cabin an 8/10 . It is spelled out over and over along with photos that there are no doors and no privacy in sleeping areas. Patrick and Susan
Our whole family, 8 adults and 4 children under age 6, had a wonderful 4 night stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean, had plenty of beds, bedding and plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, toys, and games for all ages. There was a large front yard for all of us to play in. The sauna was a great! Sitting outside and looking up at the stars at night was amazing. Be aware that the only doors inside the cabin are on the bathrooms. However, being family, we were fine without doors in the different bedroom areas. The hosts were very prompt in answering my questions. We would definitely use this cabin if we come back to this area again. Thanks for a great 5 days!

The house had everything you could need. The beds were comfy, plenty of pillows and blankets for those cold nights. Instructions were clearly posted on all the appliances and light switches. The house and the area were quiet and serene. Would definitely recommend staying here. The main attractions aren't far away and the drive is scenic and peaceful.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It is beautiful in the Hills. Sometimes with the winding roads it takes longer to get somewhere but so much to see. It is absolutely amazing in the winter when it snows. The trees are covered, so peaceful, except for driving of course. Yes, we have tried to think of everything our guests may need, from a bandaide, tylenol, antacid to activities, cookware, ect. If you noticed anything that we could add please let us know. Thanks for choosing Jade Pines, see you next time. Patrick and Susan
Loved the entertainment options and the location was great.

We purchased our log cabin Oct. 2017 and have went to work making it our own. We are getting older, time for our dreams to come true. We knew that our plan was to do short term rentals with it but we also want it our home away and have everything we may need. We wanted it cozy, spacious and a place where families including ours could go and spend quality , memorable times together.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the cabin, we love the logs, the loft, and everything about it.
What makes this property unique
Every amenity you could think of. Pinball, bowling, darts, pool table and Sauna. Beautiful view, quiet, garage, and so much more.
