home away from home in Custer South Dakota
It was perfect, all the comforts of home, close to all the sites we wanted to see. Would highly recommend this rental. We had a minor issue on check in and it was promptly addressed. Would definitely stay there if we are back in the area

Great location in Custer
Ruby Suites is a great house in the heart of Custer. We visited in the off season, so Custer was quiet, but the house had plenty of room for our family of 5, which included 3 teenage boys to spread out and relax after a day of hiking and/or sight seeing. Adam is easy to communicate with the and house is at it looks in the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

Buffalo Roundup/Crazy Horse Weekend
Excellent, but would recommend: softer couches, another recliner, extra paper towels and napkins. Wine and whiskey- just kidding!

Ruby Suites Respite
This property was perfect for three couples biking the Mickelson Trail. We had space for gathering and space to spread out. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The location was an easy walk downtown to restaurants and very close to the Mickelson Trail. Adam was wonderful to work with. He checked in to make sure everything was going well and responded quickly to one small issue. I can highly recommend Ruby Suites!

Hi there, I'm Adam. I had the good fortune to grow up in Custer. I moved away to attend college in Minnesota, but I still have friends in the area and will forever be returning to the magic of the Black Hills. Also my sister still lives here :)

My wife, 3-year old son, and I currently live on the West Coast in the Bay Area, but we love getting back to the Hills every chance we get. I work in Human Resources for a tech company. I'm an avid traveler (41 counties visited!), scuba diver, and love learning about new cultures, meeting new people, eating great food, and making sure everyone is having fun along the way!

Why they chose this property

My wife and I bought this property in Custer because of its build quality and location. We are lucky enough to own another vacation rental a few blocks away (Cozy Custer Cottage) - and honestly we have loved hosting people and helping them explore and create fantastic memories in the Black Hills! We get a lot of satisfaction hearing about different group's adventures and making sure that people have a 5-star experience!

What makes this property unique

This property was completely renovated head to toe just 3 years ago by one of the best builders in town. It's also in a fabulous location. There is so much to see and do within walking distance: there are restaurants, breweries, historical downtown Custer, candy stores, gift shops, ATV rentals and so much more! You will also be in a perfect spot to visit and take in the best attractions of the Black Hills - Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument, Needles Highway, Mount Rushmore, and more!
