Keen outdoor explorers can venture to the nearby National Trust-owned Prior Park Gardens (1 mile) which boasts a lovely walk to a palladium bridge or explore the rural footpaths across the hills above Widcombe (1 mile) to discover flower-filled meadows, hidden churches, manor houses and stunning views across Bath which forms part of the Bath Skyline Walk.
