About this property
4 Bed in Old Hunstanton (oc-1809)
Enjoy panoramic golf course views from this characterful and spacious home, sleeping nine guests. Boasting an enclosed garden, two sitting rooms, and a fabulous location for exploring the Norfolk coast, this is the ideal spot for a group getaway.
Built in the 1930s, this charming cottage is light and bright, with large windows, and all the useful facilities you will need for your stay. Hang up your coats and place your walking boots in the large porch, before heading through to the spacious hallway which contains a bookshelf stocked with books, and space to sit and read. Get cosy in the lounge in front of the electric fire or cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen/diner where there is also a useful laundry room/pantry. A pretty sunroom contains further seating and a TV. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, both with super-king beds. One of which has an en-suite bathroom, the other an en-suite cloakroom, while a separate shower room and a separate cloakroom with WC complete this level. Upstairs is a further living area with a TV, breakfast bar and a small fridge. The other two bedrooms, a twin and a family room with a double and a single, as well as a bathroom, are also situated up here. Outside is a superb, large, and fully enclosed garden with decking, furniture, and lawn space.
Set atop tall stripy cliffs, Old Hunstanton is a small village with a wide sandy beach, backed by dunes and beach huts (0.5 miles). Take off on foot and walk the Norfolk Coast Path which passes through the village. The route winds along the coast and takes in superb views. For a family day out, visit the Sea Life Centre (2 miles) or the glamorous Sandringham Estate (10.5 miles).
